She took a breath, trying to make another flame and concentrate again on shaping it.
Jack got up and wander to get some food
"How long did it take you to get this?" She called to him.
"My powers came naturally so not that long."
She let out a sigh, cincentratung again on trying to get it to form onto a dog.
"Well your power just randomly came to you. So it is a trickie case. You may just get a hang of it right away or it may take longer."
"Why did it come to me though?" Sje sighed, leaning back as she still couldn't get it. "Why go I have this power?"
"Cant help you there." he said as he found some crackers he hoped were still good
He bites into one of the cracker only throw it away. "Around age 5."
"Five...." her eyes widened. "And you kept it a secret for that long?
Jack holds back a sigh and looks down with a shrug. "Yea, trust me it been hard."
"I can imagine." She but her lip. "But thank you fir heloing me. I couldn't do it on my own.
"Your welcome." he said with a hint of a smile
"You are the best best friend ever."
"Well you are an amazing friend too so dont forget that."
Jack laughed lightly with a shake of his head
She just smiled, concentrating again, determined not to give up.
"Dont wear youself out." He add before snifting his milk
She sighed leaning back. "Well you know me Jack....I don't like to give up..."
"YEa yea, but you got soem time." He repeats
"Alright alright I'll take a break okay?"
She sighed, leaning back. "Happy?" She raised an eyebrow.
He grins and says. "Almost but it seems like your house all the food in it..."
She laughed. "Then wny don't you buy food instead of taking mine all the time?"
"Not a lot of money to pass around lately." He said looking away with a shrug
She frowned. "Jack? What do you mean..what's wrong?"
"It nothing to worry about just going trough a hard time right now..."
"Jack......" She crossed her arms, being stubborn.
"Come on, what's happening? If you can't even get food right now why;d you get me those expensive gifts? I'll return the car. Too late for the tickets but..."
"No, it fine. The car was a favor from someone who own me and the tickets was also a favor... It fine, I still got favors I can use." Jack said with a shake of his head, he had a lot of favors to use
"Then use the favors for yourself not me!"
"I have more, lots of people own me dont worry about me." He said with a sigh
"You know I will now Jack..." She soghed, frowning.
"I know, you want to get some rest before tomorrow?" He ask glancing around the room
"Jack, its not even 3:00 in the afternoon......I think rest can wait."
"It only 3:00?" He seem surprised. "Well I have a phone call to make so be right back."
"Um...okay? I'll just practice somw more I guess."
"But dont wear your self out." He said backing away
Alright." She said frowning. Jqck was acting...weird. Really weord....
She got up, following quietly, hoping to catch a bit of the conversation.
