"Then lets see if there is a way out." He murmers as he looked around the room secreahing for a way out

"Maybe we could use our powers to find a way out of here?"
He nodded creating a plan. "You could burn a hole in the wall...."
She gave a nod, hoping she was strong enough. She'd only had her powers for a week. At most. She hadn't tried something that big. Nonetheless she stood, concentrated on the wall, sending a stream of fire towards it.
Jack stood behind her rolling on the balls of his feet waiting to see if she could do it
Smoke was filling the room, Victoria coughing a bit, but it was working, soon there was a hole through the wall, luckily it let outside and not just to another room in the house. "come on let's go." she said, coughing a bit again.
Jack let her go first before folliwng. Once outside he stood and listen suddenly an alarm when off "Come on!" He said as he started to run
She ran off after him. "Where are we going to go?" She asked, "Is there anywhere they won't find us?"
"Well right now I am just trying to get to those woods." He nodded. The place they were being held was in the middle of the woods Jack believed he could lose them in the woods.
Victoria nodded, running as fast as she could. They were almost there....She didn't know what would happen next, her and Jack would have to hide out until they could figure out what to do. where to go.
Footsteps sounded behind them. Rocks flew up them from someone who can control the earth. He heard gunshots but nothing hit them. Jack just ran making sue Victoria was in front of him
Victoria glanced behind her a few times to make sure Jack was still right there with her. Soon enough they were in the trees, Victoria starting to slow down a bit. She was shaking, scared of whatever was going to happen now. Would they be found?
Jack was right behind her but kept telling her to keep up a good pace. He ran for a few more minutes before stopping and taking a deep breath and that when he felt pain lace up his arm. He been shot. It wasn't horrible but it hurt a lot. Blooded dripped down his arm and he just blinked at it. He ripped off a part of his shirt and tied it around his arm.
She looked back at him, eyes widening as she took in the wound. "Oh my god....Jack are you alright?" She rushed over to help him tie the shirt. He was her best friend. She hadn't wanted him getting hurt. "Is there anything I can do?"
"It isn't that bad, but the bullet is still in there. We will just have to deal with it later." He said wince as she tied the shirt around his arm. "But did you get hit?" He ask looking her over
She shook her head. " No. I'm fine. We should get that bullet out now I'd we can."
"They could be here minute on our trail." He pointed out not wanting to stop
"You being hurt could slow you down. I'm worried about you Jack. let me just try to help
He sighed but nodded. "Okay." He mumbles as he glance behind them. "But we will have to be quick."
She still had her jacket from the night they were caught and slid that off, using her teeth she started a tear, ripping off part of the sleeve. "You said the bullet's still in there?"
He nodded. "I have no exit wound and I think I can feel it." he said but his whole arm was numb so he could not be sure
"We need to get something to get it out with then..." She was frowning. There wasn't really anything on them they could use but if it stayed in there it could just make it worse.
"Look around for a pointed stick...." He said glancing at his feet. They need a sharp object to dig the bullet out
"Couldn't it get infected...." she asked, worried about it. she didn't want him to get sick because of that.
She had a good point but what else could they do? "We will clean it later."
"Alright..." She muttered, still not liking it but looking around on the ground for a stick they could use. Finding one she wiped as much of the dirt as she could on her pants before going over to him. "Ready?"
He nodded thought he looked a bit pale. "Ready."
"sorry." She said to him, glacing up at him once before looking back at his arm and digging the bullet out.
He didn't make a sound but his bit his lip and almost drew blood. After the bullet hit the ground, he rewrapped his arm. "We got to get moving."
She nodded, looking around them before starting off again in the direction they'd been heading. How much farther she wondered.
After what seem like forever they broke through the forest and came to a road. "Road mean town, town mean people." But what kind of people? Jack wonder to himself
"Come on then. Maybe we can go to a hotel or something for the night. Hide out for awhile."
He nodded, then groaned. "I don't have any cash...." He looked to her hopefully
"I have some. Don't worry about it." She said, giving him a small smile. She had her wallet in her pocket. She didn't have much cash on her but she had her card.
"You are an angel." He mummers as he started towards the town
She laughed, smiling at him as she walked next to his side as they got to town about half an hour later.
The town was small but not too small. It had a nice feeling to it and Jake liked it right away. He glance around looking for any signs of trouble
((Jack not Jake ;)))"Come on." she said, seeing a sign for a motel she grabbed his good hand and pulled him along. "Maybe we can order roomservice or something. I'm starving."
((Ooops Thanks :D)He nodded, he was also starving but he was also on edge. He didn't like the idea of stopping but his arm was killing him and he needed to rest.
(((I think I've done it before too :P))They found the hotel and Victoria went it and got them a room for the night, handing over her credit card. Soon she was heading back over to him with the two room keys. "Room 305"
Jack started to walk down the hallway to find their room. It was in the back near a fire exit which Jack like. A quick get away if need. The room wasn't bad, it was the first cozy thing Jack has seen in a long time.
After being locked in that small room fir the past few days it was a great room. "Want to see what we can getfrom room service?"
He nodded. "I hope they have pizza here." He said with a small smile before looking around the room
She gave a small laugh finding the menu by the phone. "yup. Looks like they got pizza." She handed him her card. "Get an XL. cheese on my half and whatever on yours. I'm gonna hop in the shower."
He nodded, heading over to the phone. "Don't use up all the hot water please." He said teasing her a little. He sat on the bed with a small yawn. He didn't realize how sleepily he was instill now.
She rolled her eyes at him. "Considering we're in a hotel I don't think that's possible." she replied as she went in the bathroom and turned on the hot water.
He order the pizza and lay down on the bed closing his eyes.
After she was clean she slipped back on her old clothes and went back out into the room, feeling much better. It wasn't long before she heard the knock at the door. "Room service" The voice called. Grabbing her card back Victoria paid for the pizza and brought it to the dresser. "Foods here!"
Jack slowly open his eyes with a yawn. "Yay!" He mumbles slowly sitting up
She just grinned as she pulled up the biggest slice on her half, taking a big bite. How long had it been since she'd eaten? How long had her at Jack been locked up....
