Jack made breakfast, eggs and bacon. He gave a plate to Victoria as he sat down

"Thanks." She said, not that hungry but trying to eat a bit anyway. "Whats the plan for today?"
"I haven't thought of anything for the whole night." He sighs
"think your brother will come looking for us now that we didn't come back last night?" She asked him, popping a bite into her mouth.
He nods. "Yes, whatever he gotten himself into is trouble. And now we are in trouble."
She held up her hand, looking at it and sighing. Why did she have these powers? Everything would be much easier if she was normal.
He lay his hand on hers, knowing that look. "Hey, you have a gift not a cursed." He whispers
"It sure doesn't feel that way." She sighed, looking at the table before slowly looking up at him. "I just don't know what to do anymore Jack. I'm scared. this is all just so.....strange to me and I just don't know...."
"I am sacred too, but we will make it through this. Do not worry. You have a gift whether or not it seem like it right now. I know it is hard to get past all the strangeness but we will. I will always be here if you need to talk."
She moved forward, hugging him tightly. "Jack....You are the best friend a person could ask for. Without you...I never would have known what to do about this." She closed her eyes and let out a breath. "Think you can help me practice more today?"
He nods. "I will be happy to help you practice." He said with a strain smile and hugging her back
"Thanks Jack....when do you want to start?" After breakfast?"((Should it be while they're practicing that his brother and his friends come in and take them?))
((yea, and she could do something very powerful as his brother walks in?))"As soon as you want." He answers
((Yeah! What should she do? :D))"I guess as soon as we eat then. I just want to learn more about this. Get it under control."
((Blow something up??))He nods feeling a little nervous to be teaching her. He still didnt know her full powers and he wasnt the greatest teacher. "Sounds good.""
((I don't think they should get that out of control until later. Um.....maybe they are just practicing and get caught? He already expects that she's powerful. Once she learns to work it that is))She finished her breakfast quickly and went into the living room, sitting cross-legged on the floor. "What first?"
((K that sounds good))He followed and sat in front of her as he took a deep breath. "Well, can you feel your power. If not call your power up, by looking inside of yourself and feeling that spark."
She nodded and closed her eyes, searching until she felt the fire inside of her. "got it." She said, eyes still closed as she took a breath. "what now?"
"Now open your palm and try to make a flame appear. Most people choice to have an emotion to focus on or a person. I focus on an emotion. But you will know what to focus on. Focusing on something is important because it helps you control your power." He explains
She nodded, taking a breath and holding her palm out. In her mind she focused on Jack. He was her best friend, had always been there for her when she needed it. Ever since they were little kids. Fire was warm right? Kinda like home? Well she'd always felt safe around Jack. He was her family. Home seemed to fit well with that.
Jack watched her as a flame appears in her hands. "Good now try to manipulate the flame. You can do anything make it grow, make it smaller, make a form, anything." He said with proudness in his voice
She gave a nod, smiling a bit that she was doing this and concentrated on making it a bit bigger, forming it into a shape hadn't worked to well yesterday.
Jack notice it was easier for her today to use her powers. He blinked in surprised but luckily she wasn't watching him
((I meant she just made it bigger since forming a shape hadn't worked well the day before. He had said either of those or make it smaller. She just chose to make it bigger))
((Oh okay! Sorry I read that wrong.)Jack study her as she used her powers, the flame did get bigger.
((It's fine ;)))After a minute she opened her eyes, seeing if it had worked, smiling a bit when it had. "So what now?"
Before he could say anything there was a knock at the door. He froze looking at her
She frowned, concentrating to try t get the flame to die away.She had .ni idea who it could be. no one ever visited except Jack.
Then came a yelled as the door came crashing in and Derek came strolling in with a wick grin
"Derek?!" She quickly got .ro her feet. "What are you doing here."
He didn't answer as five men dressed in black followed in behind him. Jack jump up with a growl
She took a step back, moving closer to Jack. How did he even find out where she lived? Was he really that mad about them leaving yesterday to come after them? "What do you want?"
"It not what I want it the people who I work for. They want you to come along with them." He said nodding to the men
She took another step back as the men advanced on them. With her this scared fire started licking at her fingertips a bit, fading in and out.
Jack looked defeat. "Jes there no way we can win...." He whispers
((Victoria ;) Not Jess this time))She hadn't even realized what she was doing, the fire just trying to come out on it's own. Swallowing nervously she nodded, trying to stop it.
Jack looked at his brother with hate at the men step closer before handcuffing Jack.
they handcuffed Victoria as well, without a word taking them out the back door and towards a van with the tinted windows. "Jack..." She said, nervous, terrified. What were they going to do to them....
"It okay Victoria, everything going to be fine." He said looking at her. The put JAck in the front of the van while Victoria when in the back. Jack growl something at his brother who turns out was driving. "I will kill you."
She struggled a bit again when she saw that her and Jack were going into different parts of the van. The front seat was separated from the back, all she could see of the front was through the small window. The men who brought her in remained silent, after taking Jack to the front the others went in the back where Victoria was.
"Hey Vic, if you can hear me everything going to be fine just wait and see." He said to the back of the van. He couldn't turn around that much since the seat was push far forwards
She heard him and just nodded in reply, even if he couldn't see it. She took a breath, closing her eyes as she tried to calm down. "W-where are you taking us?" She asked shakily, the guards not saying anything in response.
He glared at his brother. "We are we going?" He snapped but instead of answer Derek sighed. 'Why could you not be a problem! I never wanted to drag you into this." Jack was taken back but he couldn't help himself as he snapped. "It seems a little late for that." Derek flinch but Jack didn't care
It was a couple hours of driving before they got there, Victoria was a still freaking out as they opened up the door to the back of the van, taking her out. "Where are we?" She demanded
None of the men answer her. Jack was pushed out of the van but as soon as he saw Victoria he rushed over to her not caring about the men
She hugged him tightly when he came over, wrapping her arms around him and shaking a bit. She was scared. terrified....
He kiss the top of her head trying to be strong but it was hard. Fear race up his spine as he held it together
She closed her eyes, Jack was her best friend, she was glad that he was here with her.She couldn't do this without him.
