" Jack...what's wrong? And don't say nothing. I know you better than that."
Jack glance towards him brother and mouths talk later?
"Hey Damon I left something out in the car, I be right back." He nods his head towards the door saying that she shoukd follow him
((thought he mouthed that to his brother...but okay))Victoria frowned a bit, getting up and following him outside. "Jack...what's going on..."
Jack looked at Victoria. "I dont know...." He said lamely before sighing. "Something off."
"What do you mean something off? Is your brother acting weird?"
"No and yes." Jack said rubbing his forehead. "I dont knwo" He sighs
"Jack....if there's anything I need to know..."
"Well my brother disapper a few years ago, gone no one knew where he when..... He changed..... And nothing something feels off...."
"How long was he gone for?" She asked, glancing back at the house. She wasn't sure what to think of all this. All she knew was that she definitely trusted Jack's judgment on this.
"A year?" She was surprised. "What did he say about it when he got back?"
"Nothing that the problem.... I would of told you this before but i didnt think it would matter..."
She crossed her arms, a bit worried. "Now what do you think?"
"Like what?" She asked. "Can't you explain it more?"
"After he came back the only way to get him to help you was to make a deal...... He didn't even make a deal with us. So helping you must help him some how but how?"
That made her a bit uncomfortable. "I don't know....But I definitely don't like it....why didn't you say something before?"
"Because I just though he was going to ask for something after seeing your powers but he didn't..."
"What do you think he wants from me?" She asked nervously, part of her wishing they hadn't come.
"I don't know but just keep your guard up kay?"
She nodded. "I will. Don't worry about it." She said trying to give him a bit of a smile. "So is there anything else I should know before we go back in?"
Jack tapped his chin in thought. "You are the best friends in the history in friends. You know that."
She grinned. "So are you Jack. I could never have asked for a better friend."
HE pulls her into a bear hug. "Whatever happens, I will always take care of you."
((Who's turn is it on 11?))"Thanks Jack." She said, hugging him tightly back. "I have no idea what I'd do without you."
((Yours I think))"Faint, die, get hurt, hurt someone else, wished for someone like me?" He said in a teasing voice as he adds. "Scream like a little girl"
((Can you please post a dot or something to get it to come into my notifications?))She gave him a light punch in the arm at that last one. "Hey!" The others maybe but no way on that one."
((Yea sure hold on))"Are you sure, I could see it now." He said with a lop side grin
((Okay thanks :)))"Oh really?" She raised her eyebrow and crossed her arms. "Who says you wouldn't do the same without me?"
Jack still gave her that lop side grin. "you are probably right...." He sighs. "Not."
She shook her head. "uh huh. Deny it all you want but we both know the truth. Now we should probably head back in before he suspects something. "
"Yea, Yea." He mumbles laughing still as he head back in
Derek didn't seem to mind them being gone long, he just gave a smile as they came back inside
"Hey."She saod as she sat again. "So now we just wait?"
"Well I will make a phone call and see if my group can see you today if you like?"
"Um yeah, that would be great." She said, giving a bit of a smile, but throwing a quick glance at Jack. She wasn't sure what to think about his brother now. Not after what he'd told her.
Jack just shrugs wanting to see how this would play out.
She took a breath, facing Derek again. "So can you call them? See what all happens now?"
Derek nods and grab his phone home. "That is the plan.."
Victoria just nodded, biting her lip as she hoped all this went okay. That Jack was wrong about his brother maybe...
Derek left the room and Jack jumps up and wave Victora over
Victoria went over to Jack's side. "What is it?" She asked quietly, throwing a glance back in the direction that Derek had disappeared.
"He used the housephone we can listen in..."
"Right." She said. "Does he have anymore around here? you probably know this place better than I do."
He walked over to bedroom and grab the phone
She tried to move to where she'd be able to listen in as well as Jack. What would Derek say about her?
