Aahooing? What the hell does that mean? :P but i'm not crazy, i don't mess with people i think are dangerous. Or psychotic, for that matter. :P

I haven't read it but this seems to be a good choice.
"A Song of Ice And Fire". Must Read for epic fantasy lovers. Nothing like it.
If anyone is interested in book series and like Epic Fantasy try "Inheritence cycle" by Christopher Paolini Spanning of 4 booksEragon, Eldest, Brisingr, Inheritence. Do try.

@Arsalan welcome to the group :)Me done with all of the books... Yup good series.. First part was great but later the quality did fall but overall good series :)
Thankyou Mr. Sohaib. Another Series that I read is "Chronicles of Raven" by James Barclay. Though not well renowned but I found its characters quite strong
Hmm... Genre??I have read very few series but a lot of stand alone books.... like To kill a mocking bird, God father, Pride and Prejudice etc etc :P

Series mostly but Standalone too. Have read Godfather etetc. Currently engrossed in A song of Ice and fire Series by George R,R, Martin. Reading the 5th book Dance with the Dragons
I find it hard to believe that no one's read Harry Potter here :-P

That is a VERY hard question. I loved the last part the best when they collect all the Horcruxes and destroy them.
Hunger games is a great series but I dunno why I feel that, FOR ONCE, the movies are better than the books. I think it might be because of the great art direction and J.Law's amazing portrayal of Katniss but while I like the books, I have loved the movies.Nothing compares to HP, of course :P, I remember waiting sooooo eagerly for the seventh book and then getting depressed when it finished. I have a love-hate relationship with the part where Dumbledore dies. I think it is the gutsiest thing Rowling did with the series but as a fanatic I kinda felt sad and angry. At the same time, however, I realize that this was imperative and HAD to happen foe Harry's character development :)

However no series is compared to HP. It was hands down Epic.
Agreed, HP is absolutely amazing. Loved the books - the movies were good too. Nothing like the series, though
Read HP Twice. made my sisters to read. Loved it. But no plot stronger then "A song of Ice and Fire" if anyone has read.The best part of HP for me was the ending of Third book the Prisoner of Azkaban when the story takes the real turn.
I have not read A Song of Ice and Fire but I do watch Game of Thrones. Love it a lot but the TV series does get a bit confusing sometimes because of SOOOO many characters. Does that happen in the books?
No the books are written with a touch slow narrative but still the characters are explained in great detail in book. Many characters. families are ommited in season which were spoken about in book. You search the houses of game of thrones on internet and you will find many names not mentioned in the book. I read books then watvh the season. Season in well made but no where close to the books.
