Hey guys I just started my own blog. I write book reviews and would like to promote it, but I've no idea how. I'm new to this and need help to make my blog a better and successful one.

The best way to promote blogs is to visit and comment on others blogs. Joining blog hops can be good too. I gained a lot of visitors and subscribers from the A to Z blog hop in April.

I would advise you to add more follow options. A lot of people like me don't follow blogs by email as our inboxes are already overflowing. Try adding Google friend connect, Google Plus, Linky Followers etc.

I'm surprised at how many sites still don't have a Google Plus follow link. I have a Facebook account, but I never used it. I'm just starting to be aware of Linky.
