lol!!! YES! I think you'll be annoyed pretty quickly...it's a really confusing start and stays weird and confusing for at least 100 pages....it's frustrating

lol I had to push through this book today because I kept falling asleep reading it :P
and I almost never sleep while reading (it normally wakes me up) but I literally took like 3 naps reading this book!!

I know, it's weird. the memory machines give them access to others' memories (but only ones that others want to share.)

they give more of an explanation way later in the book.....
