She finishes her steak and smiles.

He looks back at her, "All done?"
"Yeah." She sets her plate beside her on the counter.
"Just put the plate in the sink." He says softly
She hops off the counter and puts her plate into the sink.
"Now what would you like to do?" He asks
"What do you want to do?" She asked, "aren't you hungry?"
He shrugged, "Oh I'm fine I ate before you got here."
"Umm... we can explore the house somemore ."
She leads him up a stairwell and into another bedroom.
"A guest room. Do you think there is a passage in each room?" He asks
"Dunno, and I think this one's mine." She spies her bags.
Scout nods," Well now you know where your room is."
"Just by the passages and I'm just a short walk away from the kitchen." She laughs
He chuckles," Well we can see where we are by looking out the door."
She steps into her room and lays on the bed.
Scout walks to the door to see where they were. He looked around, then he turned back
Clare was curled up, asleep on her bed.
Scout smiles a little at her sleeping form before putting a blanket over her and going to his room which was across the hall
Scout sits on his bed and opens a book
He looks up at her howl but doesn't move in her direction.
Scout was sitting close enough to his door to see out
Her dream turns to her mom's death and she whines softly.
Scout gets up hearing her whine. He goes to her room seeing that she shifted. He stands in the door way debating on whether to walk in and see if she is okay or the wait
He stays in the door seeing that she was awake
She shifts back and wraps her arms around her legs.
Scout walks into the room " Are you alright!" He asks softly
"Are you sure " he asks going to sit on the edge of her bed
"Yeah, I just hadn't had that dream in a while." She hide her face in her arms.
He reaches out and gently touches her shoulder
She blushes and leans into him a little.
"Are you sure you are okay?" He asks
Clare lifts her head and fixes her glasses.
Scout sits there not knowing what to say
