((Kay))Clare was asleep in the back seat of the car that was headed for the vampire's royal mansion. She was forced into the car after a huge fight with her father over the matter of a marriage she didn't want.
Scout was in his room after having been told he was going to marry a werewolf. He was pacing shaking his head. He was 18 for goodness sakes he didn't want to be married at all.
Clare felt the car stop and she opens her eyes. She fixes her glasses on her face, then she looks outside. It all looks so different from her home in Spain. She missed the beautiful garden her mom herself created. Well she missed her mom in general, she died when Clare was 7 when they were on a run in the moonlight.
Scout heard a car stop outside his house. He sighed as he heard his dad calling him to come down to meet his wife. He frowned this was all easier when his mom could actually communicate what she wanted. He sighed walking down the stairs and to the door to wait for the wolves to come out.
The driver opens Clare's door and she steps out. She yawns and shakes out her hair. Her father pushed her to the door of the mansion, making her walk forward. She walks up the steps and the doors opened for her.
Scout stood at the bottom of the stairs, still frowning slightly. As Clare and her father walked through the doors Scout's dad went to greet them. Scout however hung back. He was still not very happy with all of this.
Clare was welcome by the father. She smiles fakely and shakes his hand. All she wanted to do was go home and take care of the garden left to her.((Brb))
((okay))Scout steps forward after a second. He didn't say anything just stood next to his father. He really just wanted to go talk to his mother.
Clare looks at the boy and felt her ferret, jinx, climb up her back. She hold back her laugh as jinx climbs up to her shoulder.
Scout watches as the ferret climbs up the girl's shoulder. He just barely refrained from smiling a tad.
"You know your nails tickle." Clare mumbles to jinx while patting her head. She smiles at her friend and her father clears his throat. Her smile drops.
Scout looks at the girl's father, seeing her reaction. Scout was not the most outgoing person in the world he much preferred his own company
Her father looks at her. Clare rolls her eyes at him. She smiles fakely at the boy.
Scout smiles in return after being elbowed by his father. "I'm Scout." He says after a second.
"Clare." She forced another smile.
His father says, "Take her out to the gardens in the back while her father and I talk."Scout takes a breath, "Would you like to see the gardens?"
"Sure." She says thinking, anywhere to get away from my dad.
He offers his arm to her, nodding , "Alright then lets go."
Clare ignores his arm and just follows him.

Clare smiles at the garden. The flower were in full bloom and beautiful, it even matches somewhat to my own garden at home.
Scout sighs finally out of sight of their fathers. He looks around smiling a little.
Jinx jumps off Clare's shoulder and ran off. "Jinx." Clare says going after her ferret.
Scout looks as the ferret runs off.
"You are pain sometimes." She shifts and ran after jinx.
Scout watched as Clare shifted. That's going to take some getting used too, he thought as he walks off
She grabs jinx gently by her neck. She sat down and dropped jinx, who tried to run as soon as her paws reached the ground. She put a paw on jinx's tail, "we're not at home."
Scout walks up behind them, "You can let her run around, nothing will hurt her back here." he says softly
Clare growls at jinx as she wiggles again, "but it's not fenced in. She'll get lost in the near by woods."
Scout nods, "You see that maze over there?" he asks
"You can put her in there if you want, she wont be able to get out." He says
"That would be torches for her." She looks up at him.
