residentoddball | 3 comments There are multiple volumes of the book: "RSVP: The Directory of Illustration and Design" as well as "Rsvp: The Directory of Creative Talent". However, there is NO consistency in how the titles have been entered, and as a result, not all of the already listed versions appear in search results.

For example, some don't list a volume # at all. Others have it like "Rsvp 13: The Directory of Creative Talent/1988". This latter method seems ok, unless you search for it without the number (like "Rsvp: The Directory of Creative Talent"), in which case you would never see the numbered version in the results, and you just might add it new.

I started to change some into the following format: "RSVP: The Directory of Illustration and Design #17" with the vol # at the end so that all versions would appear in a more generic title search. But there are a TON that need changing.

So my questions are:
1. What is the proper format that we want to use for these books?
2. What is the fastest way to update them all?

thanks!

mlady_rebecca | 591 comments 1. The standard format for books in a series is:

title (series, #1)

2. Unfortunately, there is no particularly fast way.

I usually open the author's combine editions page and then click to open editions of a single book in different tabs. That way I can copy and paste once I get a consistent title. When I finish one book, I move on to the next book in the series.
