I get this...my phone rang with work issues a couple times while I was "away" this week.

I hate the word "weisure", by the way.

Dave Russell The word "weisure" gives me a veizure (vomiting seizure.)

Jackie "the Librarian" | 8991 comments Okay, I hate the word "weisure", but Chris has already been doing this for years. You can't have your own, one person business without being available by phone no matter where you are, or without checking your email regularly.
You could lose a client if you don't respond promptly.

Félix (habitseven) Yup. It's true. I did that for 11 years.

Cosmic Sher (sherart) | 2234 comments Ugh. When you work in the technical industry this happens all the time... and it just plain sucks. I understand the need to be available for certain job-types, but I am a firm believer in taking time to turn everything off once in a while.

Oh, and yes, the word 'weisure' is stoopid.
