Here's the link to the buddy read for

https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/...

It will count as a buddy read for me still, right? To use in the mega month challenge?"
It should because I finished just about 2 weeks ago -- and I just wrote my review yesterday. I would definitely like to discuss more. I babbled on and on, but my buddy was already finished... :D

@Rachel, I could read

I requested this on NetGalley. If I get a response soon, I'll let you know :)"
Sounds great!

Glitter anyone?"
I just got approved for Glitter!! I can read it whenever :)"

Any time is good for me -- I just took a brief look inside and I'm already hooked. I don't have much time this month and would prefer to start September 1st, but I can go with the flow -- whatever you both want is fine with me.
I set up the feed, we just need to finalize the starting date:

I'm still waiting for someone to buddy read Diabolic with me. I've already set up the thread. When would you like to start, C P and Megan?

Let me know if you change your mind about these last 2 :)
And I think so, since it's about the same character :) Again if you would like to read the series itself let me know, since I have to read that 1st book as well before reading the ARC "
Sorry, Edit-A, I didn't notice this message until now. Are you still looking to read any of these?

I wish I had The Gauntlet, but it's not available for request on Netgalley in the US. :(

Of course but in September :)

C P wrote: "I was planning to start September 2nd. Does that work for you?"
Could we start a couple days later, say September 4th? I just agreed to a buddy read on September 1st. (That would give Megan a couple of days more to get approved).

It's not open for request. I've "wished" for it, but that was weeks ago.

oh, okay. Let me know if/when you get it.

yup! do you want me to set the thread, or you can do it yourself?

@TJ and Megan - I really need to do this one this week for the G title this month but if you guys want it in Sept I can go ahead and do on my own.

I already have my 2 Gs:

How about the 28th? Then I can see how much time I have. I'm still traveling -- won't be back home till September 3rd, so its all luck of the draw for me this month (I don't have internet access much either).

Sarah already did. Here's the link: https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/...

Yay!
Here's the link for

If you go to 'activity' (using the drop down menu next to your profile picture), and then choose 'pending' on the little drop down meno on the right of the page that comes up, it will tell you if your request is still pending or not.

But I requested The Diabolic, and I just checked yesterday and it said my request was still pending and I n..."
I think your book was archived. Most publishers tend to archive their books by a month or so after its publication date. Once they archive a book all pending requests are automatically declined unless you send in a wish (the "wish for it" button) and they grant access.
I'm pretty sure this is the way it works since that was my own experience with it. Whenever I don't get an approved/declined email I look under the declined section and see the book there and that it's archived. Someone else can correct me if I'm wrong though.

As long as something is in your pending list you still have a chance it could accepted. Some publishers though will let a request sit until it does archive and at that point it will disappear from your pending list... Penguin is notorious for just not answering requests and letting them sit, for me anyway. But once it's gone from pendings you can consider it the same as a decline even though you never received a mail.

I can read it with you.

How about September 9th, Adriana?
