The waitress brought them to their table. He sat pulled out the chair for Joelle to sit in.

Wesley smiled back, and sat down across from her.

"So how surprised do you think my mom was last night?" Joelle asked softly
"I don't think she was surprised." Wesley shrugged.
"Why do you think that?" she asked
"They wanted us to get along so I think she was more happy than surprised." He told her smiling.
She nodded," That is true." She said smiling a little
Wesley made a face at her, and the waitress came to ask them what they would like to drink. Wesley orded a hot chocolate.
Joelle laughed, then ordered the same thing
The waitress nodded, and walked away.
Wesley smiled at her.
Wesley smiled at her.
"So. Do you play any sports?" Wesley asked her.
" I play volleyball. Do you play any?" She asked
"I do gymnastics and tennis." Wesley said to her smiling.
"Thanks. I tried volleyball but it hurt my wrists too much." Wesley said smiling.
Joelle laughed softly." You get used to it after a while."
Wesley just shrugged at that.
Their hot chocolates came and she asked what they would like to have to eat. Wesley said a red velvet pancake with bacon.
Joelle ordered chocolate chi pancakes with strawberries on top.
The waitress nodded, and walked away.
Wesley looked at her. "You ask a question."

"Okay.... Umm what is your favorite thing to do when your bored?" Joelle asked
"Bug my mother or go out for a run. You?"
Joelle laughed," take pictures of things.... Or follow my mom around with the camera."
"I bet she loves that." He said smiling. "Did you ever go out with anyone before this whole thing happened?"
Joelle rolled her eyes," oh you know she does." Then she looked at him seriously," no I haven't... Have you?"
"A secret one that my mother still doesn't know about.. but we broke up a while ago, she technically no."
" at least you went out. My mom just about had a cow every time I got asked out."'
Wesley burst out laughing. "Oh. It wasn't a 'real' relationship. It was like those middle school crushes and you asked them out but then didn't go on any dates or kiss."
Joelle laughed," Really? That's the last time you asked a girl out?"
"She asked me out actually." Wesley said laughing. "I asked my mom if I could date and you know.. she.. had a cow that gave a milk and cheese."
Joelle laughed," Well she sounds a lot like my mom....... I wonder his long they have had this whole marriage thing planned for us." She said thoughtfully
"Probably a long time." Wesley told laughing.
Joelle smiled," I would guess. I wonder if I will be able to pick my dress or if they will have to pick it out for me."
Wesley started to laugh even more. "I think they'll let you." He finally was able to say.
"Watch them not, I will not be a very happy person." She said smiling a little
"They'll probably give you options." He said smiling.
"And then you'll find your favorite and they'll be like EW DISGUSTING WHY THE HELL DO YOU LIKE THAT?" He said in a really girly voice.
Joelle laughed," My mom already does that. I mean the dress you saw last night was the closest thing I got to picking something out that I liked."
"I won't let it happen." Wesley told her with a smirk on his face.
"And how do you plan on stopping it?" She asked with a small smile
"And that I do not tell anyone."
Joelle frowned a little," Aww come on, please tell me?"
"Nope!" Wesley said with an evil smirk.
