Hi from, Tony Brooks
Hi Tony,
I haven't read any books on Australian history. Saw a couple of movies, one I thin was Run Rabbit and one where the Japanese bombed a northern city during WWII.

I'm not sure what you mean, Tony. The thread Christopher posted in is here: http://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/1...

To answer your question, I read mainly U.S. history. My favorite era is post Civil War to the 1930s but I also like revolutionary war. I haven't read much since the Revolutionary war to post Civil War but I have read John Jakes.
As to foreign history, I read very little. I've read all the Follet books. I'm very bad remembering names of books and don't have them in front of me but I'm sure you know what I mean when I say they are all over 1000 pages.
I just finished The Gift of Rain by Tan Twan Eng set in Malaysia during WWII.
Thanks for asking.
