Challenge! Each day, do an act of kindness that appears random. By your best friend a gift...wash your parents' car...make your brother's bed (jk on that last one). Do something randomly nice.

Just once...

Every day...

And feel free to share what you did, below.

~Tia

korrinamoe I helped set the dinner table without my dad asking. I usually don't do things like that.

Cool! I used to do that but now we eat in different rooms for the most part...Thanks for joining, by the way.

message 4: by korrinamoe (new)

korrinamoe We always have to eat in the dining room. My dad doesn't like when we eat in the living room.

You're welcome :)

Yeah, my dad tries to get us to eat in the dining room but my brother and I normally eat at the computers (which sounds really bad, but I guess it is because I practically live in this seat and I'm not proud of it) and my parents usually eat in the family room watching CSI and junk...

I talk way too much.

message 6: by korrinamoe (new)

korrinamoe Lolz. I would like if I could eat and use the computer.

It gets kind of addicting though, so once in awhile I make my "random act of kindness" eating with my parents, because that's a treat for them.

message 8: by korrinamoe (new)

korrinamoe Yeah. I wish that my dad would eat with the family. He's often watching TV while we eat dinner. Just sometimes though....

My brother ALWAYS eats at the computer unless forced otherwise. He is a bad child.

message 10: by korrinamoe (new)

korrinamoe How old is he?

12, almost 13

message 12: by [deleted user] (new)

Just helped my younger brother fix his computer.

message 13: by korrinamoe (new)

korrinamoe Ahh. I see. That's about how old I am. I don't eat at the computer though.

message 14: by [deleted user] (new)

I do thats for sure! :P

message 15: by korrinamoe (new)

korrinamoe My dad gets mad when my sisters do that. When I do, they complain, and my dad says that they're not a certain age, so they can't. It's hilarious.

message 16: by [deleted user] (new)

Lucky! I wish it was like that for me!

message 17: by korrinamoe (new)

korrinamoe I only have sisters :(

Hmm...what did I do today? I helped my friend with her project, and she didn't ask me to.

I wish my mom would get that mad at him someday. He doesn't even get up to go to the bathroom unless it's ABSOLUTELY urgent...and I know because he shakes his leg and his feet tap the floor and it is SO annoying!

My brother doesn't let me help with his homework...you have a good brother.

message 20: by korrinamoe (new)

korrinamoe My sisters get all mad when no one helps them. It's annoying. Both of you guys have brothers around the same age.

message 21: by korrinamoe (new)

korrinamoe I mean gals...

message 22: by [deleted user] (new)

Talk about annoying! My brothers go on MY computer when they have their own.

message 23: by A. (last edited May 19, 2009 07:32PM) (new)

A. (acharc) he lets me help him cuz he knows wen sister helps, sister DOES it hehehe i get frustrated showing him how or just "helping" cuz he doesnt lisen and it takes waaay longer then it should, so i just do it...sooo i gess my good deed isnt really that gud (^^;)

and ya he gets so mad wen no one helps him cuz that means hez gotta do it himself. tho he rarely brings home any work at all. maybe once or twice every 3 weeks.

message 24: by korrinamoe (new)

korrinamoe same w/ my sisters!

message 25: by korrinamoe (new)

korrinamoe I took my mom's things out of the car without her having to ask. There were so many things, and I didn't want her to have to deal with so many things, plus a baby!

THis may sound odd, but I enjoy unloading the car...

Today I helped clean and paint my cousin's apartment...Now the paint fumes have given me a headache...

Is she pregnant?

message 28: by korrinamoe (new)

korrinamoe No, my baby sister is 11ish months, and she's SOOOO trouble!

message 29: by [deleted user] (new)

I have 2 ANNOYING brothers. 6 & 4. I wish I had sisters!

message 30: by korrinamoe (new)

korrinamoe I have 3 sisters. Sometimes I want brothers, sometimes I am glad to have sisters. Right now I don't mind both.

message 31: by korrinamoe (new)

korrinamoe ((So we're reading Moving Day by Meg Cabot on June 1st? I might not be able to do it. So busy within the first week of June.))

message 32: by [deleted user] (new)

I already read it.

message 33: by korrinamoe (new)

korrinamoe I'm way behind the group!!

message 34: by [deleted user] (new)

It took me an hour to read it.

message 35: by korrinamoe (new)

korrinamoe I'll have to borrow it once I'm at Hawaii. I already have two books I need to read. Plus somethings to write. Plus three powerpoints to do...

message 36: by [deleted user] (new)

If you visit O'ahu, you should tour peaceful Mililani!

message 37: by Tia Todd, If everyone loved and nobody lied... (new)

Tia Todd StJohn (firedancer) | 84 comments Mod
Okay!

message 38: by korrinamoe (new)

korrinamoe ??
*confused*

Blue oceans.

message 39: by [deleted user] (new)

What are you confused about?

message 40: by korrinamoe (new)

korrinamoe You said something and then Tia said okay. I don't know what's going on.

message 41: by [deleted user] (new)

I said she should look at Mililani if she visits Hawaii.

message 42: by korrinamoe (new)

korrinamoe IS that a place? Or a person? Today I went to the mall for my cousin's birthday, and now my feet are dying. Well, gotta go. Ttyl.

message 43: by A. (last edited Jun 10, 2009 11:38AM) (new)

A. (acharc) Oh yes Mililani is beautiful! Its a city. I like to shop there alot! And Ala Moana to! Its the biggest shopping mall we have on this island, though they are going to build one in Kapolei. They say it will be even bigger then Alas. O_o If you go to the beach and like tiny waves and shallow water, you should go to Ko'Olina! Thats by where I am. But if you go for the big waves, I suggest Barbers Point, White Plains for medium waves, lots a surfers! (again right by me) Or Waimea bay for large waves! (opposite of the island from me)

message 45: by A. (new)

A. (acharc) :D Yep!

message 46: by korrinamoe (new)

korrinamoe That sounds so cool, Kii!

Ugh, shame on me for not coming on for so long.

message 47: by A. (new)

A. (acharc) Yes, shame on you aN! Haha nah I get busy to and cant go on. Plus we only have one computer and everyone fights for it.

message 48: by Bianca (new)

Bianca (otakuninja) there was a homeless man on the side of the road. we dont usually give money to them, but one day we had a small bag of food so we got a few bills of however-much-money and gave it to him with the bag.

message 49: by A. (new)

A. (acharc) Aww thats a nice thing to do! Back when my parents were still married, my dad used to give people rides and we brought a few homeless people into our home for a bath and a bed for a night. It feels bad to take them back to where they came from though...

message 50: by ~♥Alyssa♥~ (new)

~♥Alyssa♥~ (lyssie123) | 38 comments Oh, that's so nice of you! That must mean so much to them. It would be hard to take them back, but would could you do, besides making sure they will be alright? It's so sad to think about.
