Thanks again :)

A different cover is certainly in use for advertising material in various places on the web:

My book is If Only You Knew, by Anastasia Abboud.
Thank you.

I'm assuming that it is this cover

If so, I have done it

I think you are missquoting somewhere. My message was following on from the changing of the cover for the book in the OP.

Bind and Keep Me
Though I have had some beta readers rating the book already this is in no way a new book and it doesn't release until the 30th of august.
Would it be possible to delete the old cover? I really don't want two covers when it doesn't even have an isbn yet.

I'm surprised that the old cover was deleted given that the book had been beta read and reviewed both on Goodreads and other sites with the existing cover. A big cover reveal with excerpts and reviews would normally be enough to keep the original cover alive.

I sent out a pdf ARC just now which also has no cover. it may not have any bearing on this, but my formatter is still making the book and I only sent him the cover yesterday.
Next time I will know not to put up a cover so early. I hadn't realized adding the cover quote to the same cover would be a problem.

If a cover is an OBVIOUS placeholder then there is no difficulty removing it. Many authors add "placeholder" or "temp image" to the cover on Goodreads so it can be removed easily.
Normally beta reading counts as a review even if the beta read was of a Word document. The review by the not-reader wouldn't stop the cover being changed, we are not paranoid about keeping covers, but the betas normally would. The change is not likely to be reverted because it was made by a staffer.

You did it! Thank you!

Thanks for adding it...somewhere. The link takes me to a page with the new cover, but when I go to my dashboard or search for it by title, the old cover comes up. How does it get to where it needs to be?

It is where it needs to be.
This is the procedure for setting the default edition of a book:
i) Go to the book page of the edition you wish to become the default/primary edition.
ii) Click "edit details" below the book's description.
iii) On the right side of the page about halfway down, click "Set this book as the primary edition for this work".
iv) Click "Save Changes"
It gets confusing when a thread linked to a specific book is also used for other books. I am closing this thread.
Start new ones for other books.
