Can't find the thread to answer the questions in the intro, so here goes. I currently have more in my savings than in my checking, which is a miracle. But to cut back on books or reading? With the existance of libraries and book swaps and less than $1.00 used books on Amazon, why, it's cheaper than eating. Who would give up on reading? Even the homeless could read, if they can read, and if they wanted to....

Hi Tammie and welcome. Those who aren't homeless or indigent can make their way to my bookshop and buy a book!
Hi Tammie... Ha! Good for you for having a savings account. I tend to save and then blow it all... ugh!
Welcome to the group!

Hi Tammie, Welcome. Sweet baby... yours I imagine?
(Mine's a little bigger - almost 12 years old and 5'5"!... 12 years old already, Egads!)

Thanks for the welcome guys! Hayes, the baby is my grandson, one month old today. He is the son of my oldest (23) daughter. I have a 12 year old too, and she is 5 foot 7 or 8 now and growing. And 92 lbs. With the figure of a Victoria's Secret model. It is scary, isn't it?
Congratulations!! Very cute!
They get so big so fast... although my son is still "cuddly", which is amusing given his size!
