Do you ever get so excited to be finally getting that one book and then when you read it it's utterly horrible?

message 269: by Minken (new)

Minken Yeah, that happened to How I Live Now. I didn't read more than 60 pages before I gave up on it.

After you've read a great book with a cliffhanger at the end, you get really exited, and kind of depressed, for the sequel to come out, right? And then if that sequel comes out in not too long or it's already out, you of course order it and won't shut up about it. But when it finally comes, you've lost most of your excitement and you're not in such a rush to read it anymore. Ever happen to you?
