Suzanne Manners Justifiable anger seems to motivate me. I know that holding a grudge can ruin a relationship and make you feel ill. I remember having hard feeling years ago during a high school jealousy issue. I quit speaking to one of my friends when she began seeing the guy I had my eye on. This is silly now, but at the time I felt justified in giving her the silent treatment. Today I sometimes wonder what became of her, and how we would react to meeting once again. We were friends since grade school, but went our own ways after the 10th grade split. Taking a different path rather than risk meeting in the hall between classes.

Living in peace is so important. I have a grown son who just moved back home, and life is stressful around him at times. I find myself getting angry at him for making wrong choices. Well I should remember that he is no longer my little boy, but the rules of the house still apply. If he doesn't agree with them he should leave.

There are many things that instigate angry feelings, but if we can learn to live peacefully in spite of the issues and confrontations we face daily, I think our soul will find a higher level of loving and happiness.
