I was thinking like an end of the world kind of thing or a best friends thing.
The best friend thing sounds okay but I am doing way too many of those. I like ones with a forbidden aspect to them.
Like a romeo and Juliet kind of thing.?
That is one kind. We could do a teacher/student or co-worker romance. Any other idea? Those are the only ones I can think of.

Jane walked into college looking around at all the activities going on. She sighed looking at everyone having fun on a Friday as she has to go back to her dorm and study. If she doesn't pass this exam then she's going to have to deal with her parents.

Kyle finished playing basketball and walked back to his dorm, smiling at all the pretty girls. Just before he got to his dorm he noticed a shy blonde and looked at her. When they made Eye contact he winked at her and walked into his dorm.
Jane walked down the hall to her dorm and was looking down at the ground. Everyone around her was partying and she was just passing through as they tried to get her to join. She looked up and saw Kyle looking at her. When they finally made eye contact and he winked she blushed and looked down and walked to her dorm. All Jane could think was that he looked oddly familiar and she couldn't put her finger on it. When she walked into her dorm she saw her friend with her boyfriend doing things. Getting grossed out, she grabbed her book, walked out and sat on the ground next to her dorm.
Kyle looked over at the girl as she emerged from her dorm room. She seemed familiar to him. Maybe childhood fiend? No, his popularity didn't increase until his sophomore year of high school. Even though he went to lots of parties or did 'stuff' After a few minutes of just looking at her, he walked over slowly and cautiously, not wanting her to think he was one of those creepy boys who hit on every girl he saw.
Jane read her textbook, taking notes as she goes. Only the important things. Wanting to go for computer forensics wasn't all that fun when a major exam was coming up. She looked up and saw the boy from earlier. Her eyebrows went down towards her eyes as she tried to figure out who he was. Sighing, she looked back down at her textbook because she knew she wouldn't remember. Feeling a presence looking at her, she looked up and saw him coming towards her. She rolled her eyes and kept reading.
Kyle bit his lip as he stopped in front of her. She honestly thought he was a jerk like the rest of the popular guys. He wondered about where to start. For sure he would not start out with a pick up line like he always did. Maybe he would just try to assure her he was not a jerk. "I am not like all the other guys in there," he said after a long silence
Jane finished the page she was on and had written a small summary about it. When he had said that his voice sounded so familiar. Then it hit her. She jumped out of her sitting position so she was standing up with him. "I BEG to differ. I knew that I knew you from somewhere." Crossing her arms, Jane put on foot on the wall.

Kyle sighed. This girl would not be easy to convince. He would need to figure out some way for her to start liking him. He had no idea that would be. "Maybe I have changed from when you "knew" me," he said after a few seconds. "People can change."
Right when Jane was about to reply, her dorm room door opened with Jake coming out of it. He ruffled her hair then walked to his dorm. Fixing her hair she shook her head. "Just go ask your PARENTS. Why I don't like you. Okay?" Picking up her books she walked into her room slamming the door as her roommate Jessica started yelling at her for walking in on them.
((What now? I have never done a love/hate one before.))

Jane walked into the caferateria after having no sleep last night because of her roommate Jessica. Who was still mad at her because she walked in on them. All she could guess was that his friends don't but Jessica had known she needed to get her books. Not paying attention, she walked into Kyle. "Oh. I'm sorry."

Looking up she realized it was Kyle and started to back away. Seeing him blush she got slightly confused. "I have to go get breakfast.." She said awkwardly and tried to leave.

Kyle went and sat down at an empty table. He didn't feel like sitting by his friends today.
Jane got her breakfast and went to find a table to sit at since she knew Jessica was mad at her. Seeing Kyle sitting alone she walked over and sat down across the table from him.
"Hey," he said, looking at her, not sure what to say. That was not his strong point.
"Hi.." She said awkwardly back. "Sorry there were no seats really."
"THanks fine by me," he said, smiling at her How should her start making his move. He decided to play it safe. "What's your name?" he asked her.
"Even though you know it KYLE. It's Jane. Jane Lucier." Jane said snappily.
"Sorry," he said a little snappily. "You are beautiful so I guess I forgot. Kyle blushed and put his hand over his mouth once he realized what he had said. Jane was going to freak.
Jane gave him a look and moved down to the end of the table as far away as she could be from him. Taking out her phone she texted her brother.
Kyle slapped himself mentally. He told himself he would take things slow, Oh well. He would give it a rest for a while.
All of a sudden her brother came running in and sat down next to her and started glaring at him.

"Wes. Calm down. It's KYLE." Putting emphasis of his name.
Wes scooted over to Kyle. "So has your mom decided to give it a rest yet?"
