Karen - tbh, I was surprised how their parents easily agreed with the situation.

Irena, I was surprised they gave Addie up so easily in the first place. Mum's motives were clear to see-her focus was treatment for the brother. When dad spoke to Eva though it suggested he knew both girls were there. That's why I couldn't believe he talked himself into not going to get her as arranged.

Up to chapter 32. The events when they're in the clinic give hints of a much bigger picture. Surprised this kind of thing hasn't been noticed-what kind of world are they living in?

Finished. This has potential. I wanted to know more about how this all came about, but it looks like the second part will focus more on the big picture. There were areas I felt were less engaging, but this was a good read.
