OOOHhhh......my heart and head did all sorts of wild things there.I really like Stefan and then she comes out and does THAT! I mean, wont it have been nicer if she woke up alone with him and her head was on straight then?

Thankies :D
I just LOVE a good vampire book. I can't seem to get enough of them once i deem them worth my time! Then i go and read the entire series all at once and i'm left without anything new after :(

And I'm just itching to get my hands on Catching Fire.None of my amazing sources have it, even though they got me Blood Promise an hour after it came out. It's driving me nuts!!!!

Buuutttttt....on the other hand, there's Interview With the Vampire, which i've been reading off and on for two weeks and cant seem to finish cuz i'd rather reaad another book.Seriously? The movie was better (at least that's my opinion when i haven't read half of the book yet...)

message 620: by [deleted user] (new)

Do you like it?

message 621: by Mila (new)

Mila Tiffany wrote: "I wanna read those!....the suzanne collins ones"

You totally should. The Hunger Games and Catching Fire are my favorite books I've ever read!!!

Sarah (sathans83) Ambizzle wrote: "Do you like it?"

The Host was a little slow to begin with but then out of nowhere it starts to get very interesting and hard to put down… just like every other Stephenie Meyer book! Its very heart breaking and isn't really about aliens - well it is but not really, like Twilight isn't really about vampires.

message 623: by [deleted user] (new)

Exactly, Stephenie has this vibe going on. Most of her reviews start out like this:

"Books about {insert subject} for people who don't really like {insert subject}"

For Twilight it was vampires for The Host it was aliens.

message 624: by [deleted user] (new)

lol I hate Sci-fi so I should give it a try

message 627: by Alyssa (new)

Alyssa (shyluck13) Uglies by Scott Westerfeld was amazing, if you're into sci-fi like myself. I'm not usually into science fiction, but it really caught my attention, so by decideing to give it a try, I realized how in love with it I was. It was an amazing series, and I wish I could give you a spoiler but I don't want to ruin the book for you. I've been looking for a series of great books lately, and I just finished the two Immortals books by Alyson Noel...I can't wait for the rest of them to come out!

message 628: by Mila (new)

Mila I'm gonna finish reading the Uglies series. I was never interested in sci-fi either! I loved the first one, and I'm starting Pretties. Are the Immortals books good as well?

P.S: Has anyone read anything by Elizabeth Scott?

Was it any good? I'm starting with Living Dead Girl.

message 631: by Megan (new)

Megan (bookworm1996) I'm reading three books at once... Eclipse, Anne of Green Gables, and Hotel For Dogs.

Mimi wrote: "Was it any good? I'm starting with Living Dead Girl."

It was pretty good. She does a nice job of creating her characters, and making them believable.

message 633: by Mila (new)

Mila Is it written like in Living Dead Girl? Or Crank? Like, sometimes there's only a paragraph per page, and the chapters usually last maximum 3-5 pages.

message 634: by [deleted user] (new)

No in LYHYMY, it's short chapters, and a letter after every chapter. So the writing is slightly different.

message 635: by [deleted user] (new)

I am reading.... I forget all I can remember is the cover is a dark purply black color and it has a pillow on it.

message 636: by Mila (new)

Mila oh. That's called Wake right? Idk the author. Is it good?

message 637: by [deleted user] (new)

Now I'm reading a book by Laurie Halse Anderson.

message 641: by Mila (new)

Mila Ambizzle wrote: "Now I'm reading a book by Laurie Halse Anderson."

I was thinking about reading some of her books, like Speak or Wintergirls. Does anyone know if they're any good?

message 642: by [deleted user] (new)

Laurie Halse Anderson is my favorite author other than Stephenie Meyer. She's awesome! She makes all of her characters feel so real you can touch them. You can relate to them, even though you haven't been through what they have. And her books are always interesting. I'm a total fan girl. XD

message 643: by [deleted user] (new)

Ya they're great Wintergirls is a little off the wall but I liked it. I reccomend Speak, Twisted, Wintergirls and Catalyst is the one I'm reading right now I love it.

message 644: by Mila (new)

Mila Which one is your favorite?

message 645: by [deleted user] (new)

It's a tie between Twisted and Catalyst

message 646: by [deleted user] (new)

I didn't enjoy Speak as much because I was forced to read it but it's a great book.

message 647: by [deleted user] (new)
