I think McDonnell could br good. Certainly, he seems a bettet fit than than Hunnam. He doesn't have Strike's 'pube' hair, though. The costume department had better get him a good wig.

What!? That's a pretty significant difference, alright. I wonder how stiff the competition was for the part of Grey?
From what I've read of reviews, I don't think people's problems with the book result from prudishness.
Emma Watson might have been a good choice. What do you think of Saoirse Ronan for such a part?

I don't know. The most important casting would probably be the role of Grey, and I wouldn't even know where to begin looking. Cavil might be good.He seems to have the physical cut I'd associate with Grey.
Will you watch it when it's released?
Probably not. I won't give a resounding no, but I often end up at films I'd normally avoid like the plague on dates.
Hopefully, if do end up watching it, it won't be like Twilight.

No, I sat through the opening twenty-or-so minutes with my niece, and that was enough.
About male resistance to SoG: Sex and the City was no stranger to showing flesh or sexual scenarios, but most men I know couldn't sit in the same room were it was being watched. I think this might have a similar effect.

I'd dare say it is, but the majority of women I know who enjoyed it were all fans of SatC.
My old boss, Ed, was a SatC fan. I must ask him if he's read SoG. I'd be interested to see if he enjoyed it.

Sex and the City is one of the best shows ever made. Utterly love it, even as a man. It just speaks volumes about the time and culture that surrounded it. I feel. My tactic of imput and withdraw is striking again here so apologies for just jumping into your conversation.
The few times I've tried to sit in front of SatC physically hurt. I wish I was exaggerating.
The characters, the storylines, the acting, the actors...
These spring to mind right off the bat, but I'm sure there's more.

I believe that anything people enjoy has merit. I'll never understand its appeal, though.
