Lucy (lucybird) | 28 comments Not sure of the technicalities, so don't know why it wasn't importing. Have added it manually here.

Debbie's Spurts (D.A.) | 6325 comments If it's a single book, use http://www.goodreads.com/book/new to manually enter book information. To import the book, it needs to be in a csv file or from a webpage with isbn numbers that goodreads import handles (importing and tips on at http://www.goodreads.com/review/import ).

Or just ask a librarian to add for you. They'll need to know at least title and author but prefer to have info listed at http://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/8...

Once you or a librarian have added the book, scroll to bottom of book page and click to claim your author profile. Once author profile is claimed, you have most of the librarian priviledges to edit your own books.

The import process is not for adding books to the database; it is for adding books already in the database to your personal shelves.
