Making the Sims Into Neighbors You Can Relate To ( We're all real, Reginald, and Tadpole love)
“We really felt like the ability to create human beings, to give them a soul if you will, was really exciting, so we wanted to come up with some ways that people could define the personalities of their character,” Mr. Bell said.Hmmmm.... dare I even suggest that we're playing gods here? Or perhpas simply just mimicking on a crude scale a mirror of what we are made from? Interesting times.
This thougth brought to you by your friendly neighborhood cosmic chic. ;) (You knew I couldn't resist, didn't you Lar?)
I played the first version before any of the expansion packs, and that is pretty much the reason that I gave up gaming. It's too much fun in that "experimental monkey being given all of the crack that he wants until he keels over" sort of way.It gets weird with that game when one starts thinking about all of the time spent not living a real life to build the status of this little life that does not exist beyond one's hard drive.
Um, I think I'd better double-check Jackie....
Yea, pretty sure. My husband said, "Oh yea... you're definitely real." I wonder what he meant by that? :)
:::pinches self:::Okay, I checked. I'm real, too. Which is Spanish for royal!
We still haven't heard from Larry, though...
Larry wrote: "I'm not ... uh ... I don't ... I can't ... *RESET* ... I can be "real" if y'all want me to be.
"
Although I've never met him, I can vouch for Larry. he's as real as they get. ;-D.

That's what she said :-).

I thought I'd insert an image of someone grinning from ear to ear, but I think I used some bad search terms. I'm now trying to unsee the creepy Jokeresque pictures I just saw.
I can't decide if he makes me laugh or creeps me out more. The eyes look a little evil, don't you think?
Yes, his eyes look evil+ they are green, which, I heard is the eye-colour of cunning people. ( I don't say so,and I don't want anybody to be offended)
Maybe his eyes are green because he eats a lot of vegetables. That's what Erykah Badu would say, in any case.
Stupid story that you all probably don't want to hear...I've had this conversation with several different people. When you call a support number for most any computer manufacturer these days the call center is located in India. So you get this guy on the phone who is obviously Indian but they make him go by some slightly obscure American name. Several times I have talked to various Reginalds, which appeals to my goofy sense of humor. When I couldn't think of a proper shebang title that was the first thing to pop into my head.
Um...yeah, it was probably better without the story, huh?
No, I love it Tad, it kind of makes me adore you more.
What I want to know now: where did the picture come from?

It's a good thing to know that everyone here is REAL. I worry sometimes that all I'm doing is chatting, and sometimes arguing, with just my computer.
Good story tad.

He posted the link somewhere on here - he's the before guy on some weightgain pill website.
It's the facebook pic of Ryan Clauson, who is one of those "pick up chicks" online course gurus. His face made the cover because I was obsessed with this video that week. The first 1:30 may be the funniest/scariest thing that I have seen on the interwebz in a long time...

So it's not the guy from the weightgain pill website?!! I swear I didn't make that up! OMG, I SAW the webpage with my own two eeeeeyyyyyes! tadpole, that guy in the video seems like a douchebag. I think it's the formulated generic ploy that seems predatory which makes me think so. I dunno... I could be wrong, but I don't think so.
