I like to think the book can stand on its own, but you might be a little lost with things. I tried covering everything that happened in book 1, but it's nearly impossible to catch everything without rewriting the same book. (I'm going to send Marni a message about this, actually!)
Responded to Lanie. If reviewers of Book 2 need Book 1 just request both. If you will need an extension you need to let me know and I will provide a weeks extension.
