Hi It's my first day with the group.
I've started a project named "Writing to Race at Le Mans 24hrs" (it's an endurance motor race in France). What makes me somewhat different to other writers, I had a massive stroke in 2011. It left me totally paralyzed on the entire right side of my body. But, that was then. I’m slowly, very slowly, recovering.
I've written a fiction called Rough Diamonds. I'm waiting to hear from another company when I can get my ISBN number. May I show: 1) Cover; 2) Race car; 3) Some details about the book and the event? My book cover's colours are featured on my proposed race car.

Thanks for letting us know, Bette. Hope your time in hospital goes ok. I'm not sure that any of us will be able to fulfil your role every day whilst you are unable to (well actually, I don't think anyone could ever do this, at all as well as you do!) But I'm sure everyone will muscle in and help as well as they can.

Hi Ronald. unfortunately All About Books has a very strict policy against self promotion; so you can't do those things within our group. There are many groups that do allow (or even encourage) self promotion though. I'd recommend searching for groups and reading their rules. Many have a special set of threads for authors to announce exactly the sort of things you're asking about. I wish you the best of luck in your endeavors!
