Through chapter 17. This book is a pretty fast read. Didn't have a chance to update before.
(view spoiler)[I really like Thorne. He's always been the most real of the characters to me, but I haven't picked up one of these in a while. I wonder how his blindness will play out.

Cress seems fun. She's a bit crazy, from being trapped alone on the satellite I'm sure, but funny. This trek across the desert should be interesting. I'm pretty sure my panic attack would have been more extreme. (hide spoiler)]

Through chapter 30 (view spoiler)[I felt sad for Cress. :( She kind of annoys me at times, and Thorne is not the fantastic guy she thinks he is, but it was still sad to see her so upset. And he's not going to be happy that she's missing either.

Thorne is by far my favorite character in this series. He's the only one that really seems real to me. Although it's been a while since I read the first two and I don't remember them that well. (hide spoiler)]

Chapters 1-10:

--I think the characters and their identities/desires/etc really shine through in this book. Their interactions/reactions are realistic, the snark is entertaining... it just all comes together to make a more complete picture than I felt Scarlet had.
--Cress is probably my favorite character so far. She's so sincere, her personality is quirky and fun in a different way from the others--perhaps because of where/how she's lived and who she's been working for.
--I decided I wanted to try something different, so I bought the audiobook for this. I'm really enjoying it (which is strange, since the other audiobooks I've tried recently have all just been sort of flat for me). The narrator has put her own personal spin on each of the characters, which I think helps make this story leap to life. Of course, now I'm determined to listen to it the whole way through, so it's going to take me a few days to finish. XD (hide spoiler)]

I'm enjoying Kai and the fact that he's actually questioning things.

The whole mix up with Jacin was funny and I wonder what he'll think when he finds out about Cinder.

Yes, haha. I'm so terrible about LISTENING to things--which is why I have yet to actually finish an audiobook. I just... I get really impatient, because I know I can read it faster than listen. But this one I want to finish, so...Yeah.

Cinder: (view spoiler)[ I think she is a great main character because she seems kickass already and is a mechanic that can fix anything which is also cool and plus she is a cyborg and can sense when someone is lying or telling the truth which is really cool. (hide spoiler)]
