The Prodigal Daughter is the sequel. It was very good. His new series is the Clifton Chronicles. I am finding this to be a very good series. I have the majority of his books that I have read. The Clifton Chronicles made remember how much I enjoyed Kane and Abel.

I always felt Archer was a poor man's Irwin Shaw.

If you like stories like Kane and Abel, you should

love Rich Man, Poor Man by Irwin Shaw. Written

in the 70's, so some of it may be dated.

I will suggest you Master of the Game by Sidney Sheldon. It has very gripping story that stretches across several generation.

I have read most of Jeffrey Archer books but I need to know if any other author has the similar writing style. Before laying my hands on any new author's book I feel bit hesitant whether I will be able to complete it. I like Sidney Sheldon immensely but need to know more such authors.

You should try Lee Child's books....
I am a fan of Jeffery and Sidney and i liked Lee Child there is lot of thrill and suspense in his books....i have read only 2 of his books but i liked both of them....
