Squidalz Harry Potter is one I always fancied about living in. Some others have also been LOTR and the Xanth series

Jack D. Probably LOTR. I love the idea of Elves, humans, hobbits, etc coexisting. Plus magic!

Laura Harry Potter, hands down. They're my ultimate favorite books and I've always fantasized about being Harry's friend and different realities. I was Hermione for Halloween in grade 2.

LOTR is pretty awesome too. I can't put it down in any way and my friends and I are going to be the fellowship of the ring this October. My sister's being Frodo and I'm going to be Pippin (he's my favorite).

Jeni Here's something I would ask: "How do you know you're not in a book already?"

Emma I would love to be in the Harry Potter books just to be a copy cat of everyone else :)

Sorrel Mm... in Savvy as one of the family. I could have a special power and it would be cool. I would love to be in LoTR or Harry Potter (of course). I would also like to be in the book Seraphina because it sounds like such a rich, amazing world.

Breanna Joy LOTR. Hands down.

Angeline Joseph I would want to be the main character of any of Sarah Dessen's book as long as I get the guy.

LOTR or Harry potter

Jennifer Dupriest Hmmm... Harry Potter, Vampire Academy, or Shatter Me

Harry Potter!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Christina A Song of Ice and Fire, though I'd probably be dead within a year.

Kyren LOTR or The Infernal Devices.

Erica Zgorzynski Harry Potter, without a doubt. My second choice would be The Giver.. But I would want to be in the world with the knowledge I already have. It would be fascinating to see how people live that way.

I suppose that's kind of like Inkheart. That's another book that would be awesome to be a part of. It's a great mind opener...

Harshi I wanna be Hermione: Ms.Know-it all

Karine Harry Potter, definitely!

Isabelle OMG!Harry Potter!

Lily does it count if it actually takes place on earth?
I would soooo be a wizard and help stop the world from dying and the Lone Power So You Want to Be a Wizard (Young Wizards, #1) by Diane Duane

Most books do take place on earth. But if you mean regular, modern-day earth, then I don't see why not.

Ok, that's hard. Harry Potter, if I could be a witch. The Books of Bayern Box Set, Books 1-3 if I could have a nature-speaking power. Or , Inkheart if I had the magical reading ability(then I could be part of any book!). But if I had to stay just regular old me...then I'd choose Waterfall.

Atlantic Gem I'd want to be in The Tail of Emily Windsnap. Turning into a mermaid whenever you went in water would be pretty awesome!

Atlantic Gem This thread just gave me a story idea... n.n
