Hi I'm Denice. Lizzy thanks for sharing this with me. This is one of my causes! I write Visionary Fiction, and when I began rescuing ex-racehorses, one stuck out and showed me his magical side. He is what started my Dragonhorse Saga, in hopes of waking people up to how we treat our planet and all other beings we share it with. Great group...I will try to find time to be involved!

Aye! I am a huge advocate for the protection of the Wild Mustang. If anyone has dealt with the BLM they know how corrupt they are. We at least stopped slaughter in our country which has been a long tenuous battle. But, we still have to stop the horrific journey to the slaughter houses in Mexico and Canada...the stories of what the kill buyers do to these poor horses, wild and domestic will make your skin crawl. Oh, and not to mention our battle to stop Asia from eating dog and cat meat....Let's get out there and change the world for our fellow beings!!!

Saleen, I too love the wolf and I have a wolf-dog of my own, who just happens to be one of the characters in my book. I was born in Wisconsin....when we moved to Colorado they reintroduced the wolf back to Wisconsin, they have long been eradicated..now there are major hunting seasons on them, and they use the traps too..it is a fear based mentality. I live in the Rockies with mountain lion lurking everywhere...we hike and ride our horses with no trouble...you have to learn to live with the wildlife....I even have a bobcat that lives in the yard..it periodically watches me clean out the horse water tanks...no fear whatsoever!

We have come a long way. There was a time the scientist's truly believed that animals were not capable of feeling pain. We still have a long way to go, but it starts with each and everyone one of us. Thanks for the link Amberclaw!

Hey Im Ollie and I hate hate hate when humans take advantage of animals.
So it's comes down to what animal we've grown up to eating we eat pigs cows and chicken and we don't feel sorry for them cause we grew up eating then and nothing seemed wrong I am a vegetarian and feel bad for every cow or chicken that is slaughtered for food
Imagine what else people eat out there like snakes frogs bugs we should feel sorry for every animal not just Dogs and Cats

Hey everyone, my name is Amber, I am 26 years old and a young mother to my 4 year old daughter Melanie and in my family animal cruelty is wrong, I hate even seeing video's or picture's of animals being abused it is just disgusting same as it is for children an adults being abused it is wrong.
