This book is by many authors. It's a anthology of mystery and crimes. Some of the authors are Lee Child, C. J. Box, Charlaine Harris, John Connolly, Mary Higgins Clark and Alafair Burke. Can't wait to read it, wonder how it turns out. Will see, too many hands in the pie.

I am enjoying reading Gerald Seymours's The Dealer and the Dead. It is well written with agood pace but I am not 'feeling the mystery' yet. If you want a mystery with a twist..do you want to try my book? 'Doors Without Numbers; A Wallace Hammond Novel' It is a psychological crime/mystery.

There is a new book out 1 May 2014 in England that may interest you. It is co-authored by Andrea Camilleri, Carlo Lucarelli and Giancardio De Cataldo. Called "Judges". It has Camilleri's wit and Lucarelli's dark drama.

Another Andrea Camilleri book comes out in December 30, 2014 called The Brewer of Preston. Then Game of Mirrors comes out on April 28, 2015.

Martin Walker has some new books out Children of War, it's out in England (1/1/14). Not out yet here??? He has a book out in April 28, 2015 called "The Children Return"

Harper has one that looks interesting coming out in December. It's called Asylum City (evidently not listed on goodreads yet), by Israeli author Liad Shoham. I'll be reading it shortly.

I am waiting for Death Logs In EJ Simons 2 nd book. Loved Death Never Sleeps, fantastic first novel. death logs in available on Amazon preorder kindle so guess the book will be out shortly. Still not used to kindle

Hello Readers! The new title of Book 3 of the trilogy is no longer Unwritten Laws, but "Mississippi Blood." I can't give you the release date yet, despite receiving literally thousands of emails about it. I am working hard to finish the novel right now, and I will update you about its release as soon as I know. What I can tell you is that "Mississippi Blood" will at long last answer every question that arose in "Natchez Burning" and "The Bone Tree." So... stop thinking "Unwritten Laws" and start thinking "Mississippi Blood!"

Louise Penny has a book coming on August 30, 2016 called A Great Reckoning it's a continuation of Armand Gamache (retired).
Another author Cara Black has a book out on June 14, 2016 called Murder on the Quai it's how her character Aimée Leduc became a detective.
Also we have author Martin Walker with a continuation of Bruno in a book June 21, 2016.
These are three of my favorite detectives.

New Rebus novel announced!

Stop press! Ian has announced today that the title of his new novel will be Rather be the Devil.

John Rebus, now a couple of years into his retirement, finds himself drawn into a cold case from the 1970s involving a female socialite, found dead in a bedroom in one of Edinburgh’s most luxurious hotels. It’s a crime over forty years old, but no one was ever found guilty.

Now, Rebus has his own reasons to investigate . . . but it is going to set him against some very dangerous people.
