Just finished it!A truly amazing and inspiring and emotion-evoking read.
I couldn't even wait to finish it so I stayed up all night reading - and it was worth it.
The characters are all beautifully drawn and you can't help but empathise with each and every one of them.
For those of you who haven't read it yet - I strongly suggest it.
But, also, I feel as though a few trigger warnings might be needed - and, no spoilers here, I promise, but just please be careful and keep in mind that if you get triggered by rape or gender dysphoria, this book has both and you might just want to be careful before reading it. Maybe tell a friend you're going to read it and might get triggered, and make sure somebody's there to talk. I wouldn't want anybody to not be okay.
But, seriously, it's an amazing book and I definitely recommend it :)

I was going to mention Golden Boy as possible nominee for October, but looks like it was already a BOTM 3 years ago. Not much discussion, though.

Hmm, this one does look really good, based on the reviews. And I haven't read a book with an intersex MC. I'm totally adding this one.
I read this a couple months ago, it was really good and I think it's definitely worth another go at BotM
