SOLVED/COMPLETED Author profiles with "C initial" oddities ("C A" thru "C P")

Does that mean you are working on message 2?

I think you left some spaces where they aren't supposed to be though. See http://www.goodreads.com/help/show/60... which shows examples: "...Initials in author names
* There should be a period after each initial.
* There should be no spaces between consecutive initials.
* There should be one space (excepting disambiguation) between an initial and a non-initial.
Examples:
* J.K. Rowling
* J.R.R. Tolkien
* Philip K. Dick
* F. Scott Fitzgerald
* George R.R. Martin ..."
So, C. A. Belmond should be "C.A. Belmond"; C. A. Rogers is "C.A. Rogers" …

For C B S News I merged it with CBS News (already existing profile), but must it be changed into C.B.S. News or not?

I don't think I've ever seen it with periods before or with spaces between the letters on any shows or books; but, maybe staff or another librarian should weigh in.

I'm doing more but wanted to note for librarians to watch for authors like "C. Bird Alan" who is really "Alan C. Bird".
