"It's alright." She said to her friend. "Gracie did you recognize who you were fighting last night?" she asked him. Derek listened to them a bit nervous.
Gracie shook her head slowly," No I didn't, did you know who took you?" She asked Jason had his eyes closed listening to the rise and fall of the girls' voices
"No but whoever it was. They asked me that I held something that they wanted." She said to him. Derek listened to them surprised.
Gracie frowned a little," What would that be?" She asked mostly to herselfJason's eyes opened a little hearing his sister
"I'm not sure. The way he spoke it reminded me of maybe he said I have with me or in me." She wasn't sure. Derek listened what was going on.
"In you? What would be...." Gracie trailed off. "It's the stuff that made you better." She said coming to the realization Jason frowned even more
"I'm not sure." Kaycee got up getting a piece of paper and pen writing down what the man that attacked her said to her. "What is it do you want?" She asked him shaking badly.
"You have something I want."
"I don't know what you are talking about!"
"Yes you do you always have it."
Kaycee groaned putting the paper down rubbing her head at the memory. "this was our conversation before I was saved.
Derek wondered what the paper had written on.
Gracie took the paper from her and frowned as she read it," This is not good at all." She muttered after reading it," let me go show his to Derek." She said walking to the living roomJason sat up a little as grace walked into the room
Kaycee nodded rubbing her head a bit trying to get the memories gone. Derek looked up when she came inside. "What is it?" He asked her.
Jason got up and went to see if Kaycee was alright. Gracie sat down next to him and handed him the paper," This is the conversation that Kaycee had with the guy that took her."
Kaycee was rubbing her head gently it was pounding a bit. Derek read the conversation. "you always have it." He repeated those words. "It's impossible. Whoever attacked Kaycee might know about what saved her. I'm not sure though. Jason should read this." He said to her.
Jason walked over to his sister and gently placed a hand on her shoulder," Kaycee?" He asked softly.Grace nodded a little," That's what I was thinking, but Jason might know more."
Kaycee looked up at him. "I'm alright just a headache." She said softly to him she was fine. Derek nodded getting up and went over with her to Jason. He gave it to him to read.
He nodded a little," Alright just making sure." He told her before taking the paper from Derek and reading it with a frown," What's he mean with she always has it?" Gracie shrugged a little," I thought it was the stuff that made her better."
Kaycee listened to them covering her head a bit more. Hearing what they say. She thinks. "My blood." She didn't think she just talked. Derek thought. "It might be something inside of her." he wasn't sure. He looked up when Kaycee said blood.
Jason looked at his sister slightly alarmed," Your blood? What would that have to do with anything?" He askedGracie frowned a little," Well that's not scary at all."
Tobias woke up late that next day seeing that everyone else was still sleeping around Serena's living room
"Mom and dad said my blood will be powerful everyone will want it because of what is in it what gave me my sight." she said to Jason. He knew the name even if she didn't he had to say it. Derek listened trying to decipher all of this what were the connections?
Serena was sleeping though her tv was on playing a new's conference of the Dalton's parents.
"The serum?" He asked. Before he lapsed back into silence thinking back on all the times his parents had told him to keep his sister safe and then when they hired Derek and Grace to protect them," oh dear goodness." He muttered.Grace tried to follow everything but ended up getting lost.
Toby slowly got up and picked his way across the room quietly to make himself breakfast and maybe text Kaycee
Kaycee nodded. "Mom and Dad didn't tell them did they?" She asked him. She was so confused of why their parents didn't say a thing. Derek got completely lost trying to find out what they are talking about. He was so confused.
Serena woke up to her tv she turned it off.
Jason shrugged," I don't think so. They wanted as little people to know as possible." Gracie glanced over at Derek but said nothing. She was confused
Toby made himself breakfast quietly
"If they don't know its dangerous. Jason it needs protecting also." She said to him she grabbed the phone and went to call mom. Derek was trying to process everything. "What is going in?" He asked him confused.
Serena got a yogurt and granola bar to eat that was it.
((Sorry just got home from school))Jason frowned a little and nodded a bit," Yeah that's true." He looked at Derek," Her blood contains the serum still. So technically speaking you could get the serum from her." He said watching as Kaycee called their mom.
Her mom Jenna answered just before it stopped ringing," Hello?" She said as she finished getting ready.
Gracie frowned," So how do they know that?" She wondered out loud.
Toby are the cereal he had found
"Hi Mom I was wondering why don't Gracie and Derek know about you know the serum?" She asked him curiously. She needed to know what to do and know what is wrong. Derek nodded. "Is that one of the reason's why we were hired?" She asked him curiously. "Yes how do they know that?" He was curiously.
Serena looked at him eating her yogurt.
"Well we were not sure it was going to work of what would happen after we had given it to you." Jenna answered. "Why do you ask?"Jason shrugged a little, "I'm guessing so, but I don't normally get told everything,"
Gracie looked between Derek and Kaycee.
Toby looked over at Serena
"Because they don't know and I was attacked last night so were they and Jason." She said to him. She was nervous about her mom and dad's reaction and just of everything else. He nodded. He wondered what Kaycee was talking about to her mom.
Serena tried to think still eating.
Jenna stopped what she was doing, "Are you all alright?" She asked now getting concerned about them.Jason and Gracie both waited for Kaycee to tell them what was up.
Toby looked over at her," Do you need to tell me something?" he asked doing his dish in the sink
"I'm alright. Just shaken up we are all alright." she said to her. "Mom the attacker said I had something they wanted and I always have it with me. I think they were talking about the serum." She said to her mom. Derek saw her coming in still talking on the phone.
"No Just eating breakfast." she didn't need anything to do for him yet.
Jenna frowned a little into the phone," But how would they know about that... We just said that the serum had worked not that it could still be floating around in your blood stream." Jason looked over at his sister with a look that said 'what's happening?'
Tobias nodded," Alright then. " he said walking out of the kitchen
"I'm not sure how." She said to her mom confused on how someone knows about this she was really confused. She shrugged when her brother asked Serena nodded and finished going to her room and started reading files. The Dalton's won't know what hit them when they realize their enemy knew about the serum a long time ago. Since Serena helped create it.
"Well I don't want you or your brother to go out unless you absolutely have to.... At least until your dad and I get back home." She told KayceeToby walked back into the living room and sat back down turning the tv on
Kaycee listened. "When are you coming back?" She was scared somewhat at least they could have some answers. She thought of things to do. Serena was smoking a cigarette outside. Brock was already up with Lexa they both were exhausted but we're wide awake Which was strange.
Jenna sighed," We will be back on Tuesday." She said. It was Sunday. "Just be careful."Toby looked over at them.
Lynn was still totally out against Justin. He didn't move from where he was even though he was wide awake now
Kaycee nodded. "Okay. If you want to talk to Jason he's here next to me." She said into the phone hoping Tuesday will come fast she was so scared but didn't show it at all.
Brock cleaned up where he and Lexa slept she got them something for breakfast easily as usual was granola bars. She tossed it to him eating hers.
"No no.... It's fine I'll talk to you two later.... Your father and I have to go." She saidJustin looked over at Toby," Would you please help me?" He asked. Toby nodded," Yeah." He said getting up and moving Lynn so Justin wouldn't dump her off the couch when he got up.
"Okay Mom Love you." She hanged up after a minute. She rubbed her head a bit and sat down she couldn't believe what she was told at all. Brock tossed Justin something that he could eat drinking his water. Lexa was changing he didn't want to interfere her.
"Love you, too." She said before hanging up. Jason looked over at her, "so what did mom say?" He askedJustin caught it with a small smile of thanks. Lynn woke a little but otherwise stayed where she was. Toby looked at the two of them, "How is she still sleeping?"
"She said just not to go out unless it's necessary. Until they get back on Tuesday." She said to him really trying figure things out. Brock shrugged. He didn't care but was really surprised at how she was still sleeping.
Jason nodded a little, "Well maybe its a good thing that we have everything we need for the next few days." He answered Lynn rolled over, "All of you shut up! I can hear you." Justin laughed softly, "Sorry sweetheart." Lynn threw her pillow at him.
Kaycee nodded. "I'm going to shower." She went she went to the bathroom and took a quick shower tired. She got out when she was done changing and drying her hair. Brock moved he didn't say anything he won't get in trouble. He hugged Alexandria when she came back.
Jason nodded a little, "Alright." Gracie sighed softly and clasped her hands in her lap. Justin continued to laugh as Lynn got up. He grabbed her around the waist. Tobias laughed softly, "You two are nuts."
Kaycee came out changed after a few minutes. She sat down braiding her hair. Not sure of what to do for the next few days. She wasn't sure at all.Brock laughed a bit. "We are gonna go train." Lexa said to them pulling Brock out of the room to the gym to train.
Jason sighed softly, "Now what to do." He muttered to himself.Tobias nodded a bit, "alright have fun... I'm going to go over to Kaycee's." He said
Kaycee grabbed her phone and read her book. She was so tired now. They nodded and disappeared and went to work out in the gym.
Jason sighed and laid back down on the couch and closed his eyes..Toby got into his car while Lynn and Justin went to get something to eat and then went to join Brock and Lexa
Kaycee started reading her book trying to bookmark everything. She wouldn't sleep unless she has too.They were training when they came in. Lexa was kicking Brock's butt.
Jason fell asleep and Gracie got back up to get something to drink.Tobias drove up to Kaycee's house and knocked on the door.
Justin smirked a little, "brock you are letting a girl beat you up." And with that Lynn hit him upside the head.
Kaycee was reading more tried to ignoring everything else. She got up when a knock was sounded on the door. She answered the door. "Hi Toby." Relieved her brother was asleep.Brock knocked down Lexa. "Who's being beat up now." He was a bit out if breath.
Tobias smiled at her, "Hey Kaycee... I was just coming over to see if you were alright." He saidGracie looked around the corner to see who was at the door,
Lynn squealed as Justin ran at her. He laughed as he pushed her to the ground, "I'm not getting beat up... she's just a cheap shot."
Jason leaned back on the couch a little hearing the girls voices but now what they were really saying
