Kaycee slept no nightmares for the first time in forever. But was still scared. She relaxed happy her brother was okay everyone was okay."I'm okay Grace." He tried not to get her to be a nurse to hi but she always would end up winning.
Jason woke up at bit seeing she was at her desk he got up and moved her to her bed. Gracie rolled her eyes a little," Just come here." She said
Kaycee didn't notice still sleeping she must have been writing before she fell asleep. What she usually did. He went over to her letting her look at it.
He gently laid her in her bed keeping a few lights on for her Grace gently cleaned up his head
She slept relaxing in her bed feeling more peaceful then before. He didn't flinch as she did. It wasn't hurting so much or so bad.
He walked out of her room and went to his to sleep in his own bed after making sure she was alright.She cleaned him up quickly.
Kaycee slept the rest of the night calmed down relaxed her fears disappearing as she slept. He let her flinching a bit when she hit the bruise.
Jason slept peacefully too in his own room only waking when his alarm went off the next morning.Gracie frowned a little," Sorry." She said softly noticing him flinch
Kaycee woke up shaking but sat up relieved at the light she put ice on her wrist going to the kitchen. "It's fine." He said to her it wasn't so bad.
Jason was in the kitchen making himself breakfast. He looked over at Kaycee," Morning." He said She nodded a little," Alright well your all done now."
"Morning." She went over to him to help him. She rewrapped her wrist.He nodded relieved.
Jason watched her and went back to making breakfast. She moved her hands away when she as done
Kaycee finished wrapping it and put it under ice. She relaxed not tired anymore."Thank you." He said to her it didn't even hurt at all. He relaxed ready to go around and protect the Dalton's again. "You should get some rest."
Jason looked over at her as he finished up breakfast. Gracie shrugged a little," I guess I should," She said softly
She got the plates and silver ware to set the table. He nodded. "I'll be here." He needed rest also.
He smiled at her," Thanks." He said putting the food into the plates.She nodded," alright," she answered laying back down on the couch
"Your welcome." she got cups asking him what he wants to drink. He sat down in a recliner across from her.
He told her milk as he went to put everything on the table for them.Gracie started to close her eyes
She got them both a glass of milk bringing it over to the table. He started to fall asleep slowly.
He slipped his arm around her before he sat down giving her a little hug.She sighed as she fell asleep
Kaycee hugged him back after sitting down with him. He fell asleep thinking of Gracie.
Jason smiled at her ad started to eat Gracie dreamed about one day not having to he'd how much she liked Derek.
Kaycee started to eat with him smiling at him. She was feeling so much better. He dreamt of being with Gracie safe and sound not having to deal with anything.
Jason finished his food a little while later seeing that Kaycee was alright. He got up ad did the dishesGracie moved just a little on the couch rolling so her arm was hanging off the edge
Kaycee helped him out doing the dishes she sat down after that. He relaxed as he slept relaxing looking at her. As he slept.
Jason sat down next to her grabbing a book. She sighed and woke a few hours later
She sat down next to him reading. She was so tired. He was still sleeping he was exhausted.
Jason looked over at her," You can go back to sleep if you want too." He said softly Gracie slowly got up running her fingers through her hair a little.
"I'm fine." She didn't feel like sleeping again. He started waking up after a few minutes.
He nodded a little," Alright then." He said softly She was up walking slowly around the kitchen trying to figure out something to eat
She just was reading looking tired but wouldn't sleep. She iced her wrist looking up at Gracie. "Morning." She said to her.Derek started to wake up.
Jason looked at her every once in a while just making sure she was Alright. He smiled a little at Gracie as she walked into the kitchen. Grace smiled at Kaycee," Morning." She said softly
Kaycee smiled stretching a bit still. "Do you want some breakfast?" She asked him. Derek came in looking at him. "Morning." He felt better.
Jason grinned a little getting up too," You guys can have whatever you find." He told them. Gracie nodded a little," Yeah breakfast would be good." She said softly still
Kaycee heated up the leftovers for them. Derek sat down relieved at feeling tired.
Gracie walked into the kitchen with Kaycee," Hey are you okay?" She asked.Jason looked towards the kitchen but stayed where he was
"I'm good just sore." She admitted to her. "How are you feeling?" She asked her.Derek sat down still feeling pain.
She nodded a little, "I'm alright." She saidJason looked over at him, "Hey are you okay?"
"That's good." She was glad they were okay. "I'm fine my ribs just hurt a bit." He said to Jace.
"Yeah it is," She said softlyJace nodded a little, "Yeah I understand."
Kaycee adjusted the ice again.Derek nodded ignoring the pain. It wasn't so bad.
Gracie looked over at her, "You know you should take the ice off for a little bit." She told her.Jace looked over at him, "You didn't tell Grace did you?"
"I did earlier so I'm just barely putting it back on." Kaycee said to Gracie she had this situation before so she knew what to do. He looked up at him acting confused nodding no.
Gracie nodded," Sorry I keep forgetting that you know what you are doing." She answered softly leaning back on the counter "She's not going to let you do anything if she finds out.
"It's alright." She said to Gracie she couldn't blame her for telling her these things. "I'll survive." he muttered to him he didn't want to be rude.
"Next time tell me to shut up." She saidJace went back to reading his book
"There's no need for that." She said to her. He didn't want to tell her and didn't mind what she would say.
"I'm serious though." She told her. Jason sighed softly and closed his book a little late
"It's alright." She said to her meaning it. Derek felt the pain disappear luckily.
Gracie shook her head,"I'll be fine, come here." She said noticing the bruise and cut on his head
