((Saw the Hobbit, and it's easily the best movie of the year for me. Mirkwood, Smaug, and Dol Guldur was what did it, I finally got to see what I imagined brought to life.))
((YES!! Ever since I was seven, or younger, I would read the hobbit over and over again... Seeing Smaug in the theaters, well, that just scared me out of my mind and made me so happy, it was exactly how he'd been in my imagination all those years, every time I opened the book. If I had to review the movie in one sentence, it would be: Bilbo, put the bloody ring back on!))
((Haha, yes. My body was basically twitching during the confrontation with Smaug. I especially liked how Peter Jackson gave the dragon that arrogant, Im-better-than-anyone type of attitude that all dragons should have. If I could change one thing, I would expand their journey though Mirkwood and have them stay that one extra night by the fireside.))
((I meant in the rp but I guess also in the film. His dad, though, is such a prick especially when talking to Tauriel))
((Any time is good. It sounds like the majority want it to happen and are just waiting with pent up breaths.))
((I suppose, that's what you've been planning, right? The easiest thing would be to copy each and every thread exactly -only the first post-, then to delete the old ones. It's pointless dragging this out.))
((I'm still surprised Legolas and Eldyl haven't even noticed Mallory's "dead" body. If we're not deleting all of our history I might have a reluctant comeback.))
((Yeah.... Her corpse is there. I looked back at previous comments, but no one is noticing the dead body a few feet away!))
((Oh and if we are having a "new and improved" group, then we should have a limit on the mages and humans from earth.))

Oh and Anne hasn't noticed either, I think.

((Oops! Sorry for both! I'll make Both realize. As for Anne, she'll be dead by the time this group restarts. She has no clue Wood is dead.))
Legolas' keen eyes scanned the bare fields of Mordor, looking for any sign of danger. But then he spotted Mallory's lifeless body on the ground and fly a lump rise to his throat, choking him. Choking him with grief, as had happened to him three times. Once for his mother. For Woodsong. And now... He stopped in mid-step.
Anne gave him a curious look- her azure eyes were not elvish in the least. "Legolas? What's- what's wrong?" He gave her a light push.
"Go. Go back, to the others."
But she stayed stubborn. Gripping him by the shoulders, she shook him. "Legolas, don't try to hide the truth with an order."
He looked down and made a motion for her to follow him. Upon seeing Malory, Anne half wished she hadn't convinced the elf-prince. The dropped to their knees beside Mallory.
Legolas shook his head, biting a trembling lip.
Anne put a gentle hand to Mallory's cheek. "She's ice cold," she murmured. "No. No, no, no." She blinked and tried hard not to cry, but when it came to a dear loss, the tears were inevitable.
Legolas shook Mallory. "Mallory! Wake up! Wake up! This- isn't- funny!"
Anne buried her face in her hands. "No- Mallory!" She sobbed.

Anne buried her face in her hands. "No- Mallory!" She sobbed.
Mallory wasn't completely lifeless. She let out a low groan, slowly and weakly moving her hands to reveal the arrow that had pierced her stomach. Blood trembled everywhere around her middle, gushing out like a river. "Go... Goooo........" She groaned, moving her head from side to side. Her hands were bloody, and trembling.
Anne gasped. "Charred body of Ehru," she swore out loud. She looked at the wound and removed the arrowshaft as gently as possible, though it released a new wave of blood. She chewed her lip. The wound was too small for yarrow.
Legolas gasped and slapped Anne's now blood-covered hands away. "Stop it! You're making it worse."
"Shut it, Legolas, and make yourself useful."
Legolas was shocked. Nobody had ever dared to speak to him like that. "How dare you- you insolent mortal! I'm a prince-"
"Yes, but not my ruler. Now, how far is it to the mirkwood?"
"Two days on foot."
Anne swore again and held Mallory's hand. "Everything's going to be fine, Mallory, just stay.."

"I-I-I can't! It-it burns...." She gasped trying to grab a breath of life. Mallory looked from Anne to Legolas, going back and forth. "You-you can't save me... I'm going to die....... Just like Madelaine...." She whispered tears melting in her grey eyes. It was almost like Madelaine's first death. But no one, not one would stay by her corpse for days and days, with non stop weeping.
"No." Anne growled. "No. If you think we're going to just- sit here and watch you lose, then you're wrong. Because that's what I've always done. Just watched. Just did nothing. I watched my brother die. I couldn't save him. I let his life- so- easily- slip through my- fingers- and if you think I'm going to let yours do the same..." She shook her head, the tears falling thicker. "No."
Legolas nodded. "She's right." He gently picked Madelaine up, and started running, Anne close behind.

Mallory groaned constantly, her body limp, weak and tired. "I'm not worth running for, Legolas.." She said, her eyes squeezing shut as a sharp pain entered her. She suddenly cried out in pain, her body begging to let go of the light of the little life she had. "My life is little. I'm a mortal. Little life. No life." She said, as she trembled in the elf's arms. Her hands were still gripping the wound, applying pressure, in reality making it much much worse.
((Sorry I was so late! I was at Barnes and Noble ^^ I got a new sketchbook and a Middle Earth dictionary ^^ And I got my friend a leather copy of the Hobbit since she's really wanted it for a long time!!!))
