Fields of Mordor
"Just- with this." She stooped down and picked up the dusty dagger from where she had thrown it.
((Good night!))
"No, Zane." She said, pocketing the weapon. Turning to Fiera, she gave a small smile and said, "If I don't come back, don't go looking for me."

She took her hand. "We'll come with you, all of us."
((Urg... this cold is Hell, I'm on, is anyone else?))

Anne frowned at her. "I know that, but I can't do anything anymore." She shook her head. "Ever since I tried to kill myself..."
She took Anne's hands in hers. "Please, Anne, don't destroy your life. It's an occasion. Rise to it."
((Hehe well Castor is fine now though Drax made a post that made no sense how does soul energy I guessed keep you clean?))
((Eh on that but I suppose he could swing that I edit then to make better))((Should I get sleep maybe?))
((Hullo, okay, I'm on now.))
Fiera took Anne's hand. "That's a horrible lie, and whoever told it to you should be shot. You're more valuable than you'll ever know." She started pulling her back to the ruins of the Crystal City.

((Just going to subtly inject my character)) The smell of ash was strong and the heat of the far off volcano was carried by the harsh wind. Eldyl narrowed his eyes and clenched onto the rock face for dear life. A few seconds ago he was traveling through one of the deserted Orc paths carved out through the bordering mountains of Mordor, but now he was standing inches away from falling to his death. He took small, quick breaths and continued to make his way down to stable land. Some people might brand him insane for traveling into Mordor alone and he was inclined to agree, but his mission was clear. Seek out any major Orc influence still living in the charred land, and claim it's head as a trophy.
Passing under a rocky overhang with the others, Fiera jumped slightly as a few pebbles clattered down and ricocheted off her jacket. She drew her staff and looked up, at first not seeing anyone, but expecting an orc. She wasn't stupid enough to call out -like as not it was an enemy. But she made a motion for everyone to be silent as they continued on.
Anne shook her head and rolled her eyes, but put away the dagger and followed Fiera. She whipped out her sword as she heard a sound.
((Cool, where?))
Fiera grabbed Toby and pressed him against the wall, so he'd be less of a target. "Something's out there," she whispered, barely audible.

((I have to go eat but I'll be back on soon.))Eldyl continued along the hairline path. His heart rate suddenly exploded as his foot slipped, sending small rocks down to the ground below. He cursed and stopped for a moment, catching his breath.
((Okay.))
More rocks clattering. It seemed impossible, but someone was climbing the sheer face of the wall. Her first thought was Gollum, but she wasn't quite sure where he'd gone, and she doubted he'd be here voluntarily.

Eldyl felt small droplets of blood slide down his hand. The jagged rock felt like razors to his fingers and the rough texture didn't help his grip. He clenched his jaw and surged forward, sliding one step after another until he was standing on something more stable. Suddenly his entire right foot gave way to nothingness. He felt the exhilaration of falling but with his left hand he lunged out and grabbed the path he once stood upon.
There! She saw him, finally, but it definitely wasn't an orc. "Hey, are you all right?" she called, wondering how the heck she was going to reach him. Cross seemed to be unhelpfully silent as well.
With blood gushing in his ears Eldyl though he heard a voice shout out to him but with a quick assessment of where he was now, he dismissed any idea of someone around to help. His bow and two side swords clacked against the rock as he started to move his way across the face, inching his bleeding hands further and further to the right. A foot hold was coming closer with each movement and soon he crawled himself up onto safe ground.
Well, at least whoever it was wasn't after them. She took Toby's hand and kept going towards the Crystal City.
"Well...won't be taking that route again" he said in between heavy gasps. He glanced down at his hands, taking in the damage. Suddenly, far down below, he noticed figure walking slowly in the shadows. "Orc's?" he questioned and tried to grab his bow but the cuts on his fingers restrained him from grabbing it.
She turned around again, looking up. He looked pretty badly injured, but she wasn't sure if he was an enemy or not. "Do you need help?" she called hesitantly.
Shocked by hearing a friendly voice, Eldyl tried to search for something to say. "Uh, I would like to find a way down from here. Though this way would lead somewhere but I guess not." he shouted down.
"Hold on," she called, "I'll think of something." She went to the rock face. Climb it? Impossible. Blow it up? She might just drop him down and kill him. If only she had... Oh, right! She did! Fiera pulled a long length of rope from her backpack. "Do you think you can catch this, or even climb down it?" she asked. "Is there anything to tie it to up there?"
He looked around the small stone shelf and shook his head, nothing. "Can you toss it up here? I have an idea." he said.
She looped it up into a tight bundle and obliged. Not being the best throw, but better than some, it was a fair effort, coming within his reach.
With a reach he grabbed the rope and stepped back from the edge. With a quick movement from his hand, he produced a small rusty knife which he now held gently in his throbbing hand. He unraveled the rope and tied a knot around the handle of the knife before squatting down, shoving it into a small crevice. With a sudden tug, the knife became firmly wedged between rock. "Please hold." he whispered and moved out towards the edge.
"Do you think you can make the climb, your hands are bleeding," she pointed out, "It might be too difficult." But, knowing people running around in the middle of Mordor, he'd likely gut her the instant he got down, so she took Anne, Zane, and Toby and took a few cautious steps back, holding her bladed staff out in front of her.
Eldyl ignored what she said and concentrated on wrapping the rope once around his left forearm, threading it around his waist, and once again around his right forearm. 'Perfect way to break something.' he thought and stepped off the ledge. Sweat started to drip into his eyes as he started to walk downwards, making steady progress to solid ground. After a few nerve breaking seconds he finally was about a story away from the ground until something above snapped. The rope became slack and he felt his body face plant into the dirt.

"You can tell?"
