Alex snorted, "Yeah, right, also, sorry about trying to kill you, you were on the hit list and they sent me to try it out," he said, shrugging.

"Like I'd know, they only gave me your name." he said, motioning to Shadow.

Alex nodded, "I'm 18, they didn't trust me,with anything else but a gun." he said.

He shook his head, "I received orders through someone else, all I know is that he's new and that the old one was assassinated.

Shadow's eyes widened slightly, she looked at Aspen, she nodded slightly, she understood, "Alright kid, what are you going to do now?" she asked.
Aspen caught Shadow's slight nod. He turned back to the kid waiting to hear his answer
Alex shrugged, "Depends, are you going to hand me over?" he asked.
Aspen shrugged," that depends on your plans if we don't."
"My plan is to go back, say I killed you, end. Of. Story." he said.
Aspen stared at him for a while," How do we know if you aren't just playing us to get away?"
"Hmm, lets see, who would let an 18 year old go after he or she attempted murder, two times? No one." he said.

Shadow narrowed her eyes, "We'll see if we can trust you, I'll leave a window half open and Aspen and I will leave for the meeting when we come back we'll see, if you are still here, if not I will personally hunt you down." she said, flashing him a sweet smile.
Aspen looked over and nodded at what Shadow said," But we will be back in a bit." He said pulling his keys out of the ignition.
Alex nodded, "I couldn't run even if I wanted to." he said, looking at his bound wrists and ankles.

Aspen looked back at him for a second but got out without saying anything. He left some of the windows partially open and walked into the building with Shadow
Shadow went to the basement where she let the scanners check that she was she and opened the door, walking down the clean white hallway, she reached the boardroom.
Aspen followed her letting the machines and other people check to make sure he was himself and no one else. He walked with Shadow to the boardroom. He leaned over to her," After this meeting we are going to get your shoulder checked." He said softly
