Shadow felt something graze her shoulder, she frowned, looking down, a red spot seemed to be forming on her shirt, she looked back, "Come on Aspen!" she yelled and ran to the car.
Aspen looked around but ran after Shadow. "I'm right behind you," he said pulling the keys out of his pocket and unlocking the car. He glanced at Shadow and frowned seeing the red spreading on her shoulder
She put a finger on her shoulder, it cane away warm and red, blood. She scowled at it, getting into the car, "We have to contact headquarters preferably soon." she told him.
He got into the car and started it. He nodded a little glancing over at her as he pulled away," I know.. I would call them but I can't talk and shift at the same time."
"I will." she said, getting out her phone and called them, "We just got ambushed in the park, targeter unknown." she spoke.
He nodded driving to where they were staying. He listened as she talked
A voice on the other end said, "We know, get to headquarters in an hour." it said, she nodded.
Aspen glanced over at her as he pulled into their place," What do we do?" He asked
She shut the phone, "They said to come in an hour..." she said, looking around, she turned to him, "Let's get inside." she said.
He nodded slightly," Alright." He said shutting off the car and opening his door. He grabbed the basket and waited for Shadow
She came out, holding the blanket close and ran inside the house, she went to the closet and put the blanket away, she got out her sniper gun, walking to the window, she set it up, ready to shoot.
He followed closely behind her. He shut and locked the doors behind them and started to put the other stuff away. He then got out the first aid kit and walked back over to Shadow," Alright honey before you go searching for that person lets clean you up."
She smiled, "I'm fine, the bullet only nicked me." she said, looking through the sniper scope.
He chuckled softly," that's what everyone says baby." He said softly
She blushed slightly, shrugging "I'm fine." she said, wincing slightly, she looked at him.
He shook his head," Just let me look at it?" He said walking over to her
She huffed, "Fine." she said, turning towards him.
He shook his head a little and gently checked over her shoulder " Shadow
That's more than just a nick." He told her softly cleaning it up as best he could
She sighed, "I was lucky that the sniper was too far to shoot accurately..." she said, looking at the window.
He nodded agreeing with her," Yeah we both were." He said softly bandaging her shoulder.
She winced again, she groaned as she felt nauseated again, "How many times do I have to throw up in one day? This is the third." she told her self, putting a hand over her mouth, she groaned, The world hates me, I'm injured and I have a sniper hooked on our trail and now...at this time, I have to throw up?!
Aspen looked at her and frowned a little as he finished up with her shoulder. He frowned a little more as she ran off to the bathroom," I can't tell you anything about that."
When she finished she splashed her face with cold water and ran back to the living room, back to Aspen, she smiled lightly at him and went back to her scope, looking out for the sniper.
Aspen followed her back to the window when she came back. He was worried about her but didn't say anything to her about it.
Shadow spotted someone walking from the direction if the park, appeared to be no more than a high school student, black hoodie, Levi jeans, boots, and a black backpack, she followed the person with her scope.
Aspen watched the guy from behind her. He didn't like the look of him. He glanced at the time realizing they only had about 10 minutes to get to headquarters," Honey." He said softly," When we lose sight of him we have to get to headquarters.."
She nodded, she saw the guy round the corner, she sighed, Not him.. she said and stood up, "Lets go." she said.
He watched until he couldn't see the guy anymore. " come on." He said moving slowly away from the window.
Shadow nodded and followed him but not before tucking a gun into her side bag, she glanced at the window again, uneasy, but followed him.
Aspen reached for the gun he kept hidden in a drawer by the door. He looked back at Shadow," I don't like this." He said softly
((I'm going to be gone for a few days))

She shook her head, "E neither, lets go, keep close watch." she said and walked quietly out the back door to the car.

Shadow got in quickly and looked around she thought she had seen a black shadow lurking at the corner of the street, she narrowed her eyes but didn't see it again.
Aspen followed her looking around. He was hoping the he was seeing shadows and that they weren't someone watching them. He hurriedly got into his car and started it
She slid her gun in the slot beside her car seat and sat back, trying relax a bit, the annoying pain of her bullet wound finally got to her, she was not focused when she saw a gun point at her window and a shot rang as a bullet pierced the window and hit the leather on the seat beside her head, she dove for her gun, it was the kid in the black hoodie and black bag.
Aspen just started the car when he heard the gun shot and the glass shatter. He looked over at Shadow as he reached for his gun and looked at the kid in all black. He hated shooting people but when they were threatening people he cared for it didn't matter to him
Shadow grabbed her hand mirror and flashed it in the sun, blinding her enemy, she shot him in both shoulders, she jumped out of the car and opened the back door, she tree him in after getting her duck tape, she taped his mouth, wrists and legs, "Aspen, we need to get to headquarters now." she said, sitting back into her seat, adrenaline pumped in her viens.
Aspen looked over at her jumping out of the car and pointing his gun at the guy. He watched as Shadow taped the guy up. He nodded," We bringing him?" He asked
"Yeah, headquarters will probably question him and then, I hope they'll kill him...most likely." she and flared at the boy in the back seat, he looked to be about 18. She shook her head, why would they send a kid?
Aspen nodded a little," I hope they do something with him." He said starting the car and driving towards headquarters. He glanced back at the boy. He didn't look much younger than he and Shadow
She sighed and turned in her seat, he was squirming trying to break free, "Why the f*ck did they send you?" she asked, frustrated.
He pulled into headquarters and waited for the boy to answer. "Come on talk." He said in a firm voice
Shadow ripped the tape off his mouth ((you or me?))
(Could you?) Aspen quietly waited for him to start talking. He was a little more patient than Shadow but they worked that way.
Alex looked at the girl who was glaring down at him, he smirked, "I'm not telling you anything." he said simply.
Shadow got a little pissed, "You shoot my twice and you refuse to talk, actually that's fine, we'll just hand you over to the boss." she said.
