"I'm picturing myself as a puppy right now." she said and laughed.
She laughed even more, "I know." she said.
A shiver ran through her as he kissed her neck, she smiled slowly.
He continued what he was doing smiling a little against her neck
She wrapped her arms around his neck.
He chuckled a little holding her tight
She sighed, "Shouldn't we eat or something?" she joked around.
He pulled away," We can if you want."
"Are YOU hungry?" she asked.
She smiled, " Ok, then lets eat." she said and sat up slowly.
He grinned a little and sat up," Alright."
She took the basket and started unpacking the lunch.
He nodded and sat best to he helping out a little
She smiled when she was done.
She passed him a sandwich, "Bon appetite." she said and smirked a little.
He smiled a little and took it from her," Thanks honey.@
She smiled, "You're welcome." she said and started eating hers.
He took a bite of his as he sat up
Shadow looked around, there was no one left in the park around them, she smiled and enjoyed the feeling of solitude with only Aspen by her side.
He looked over at her and smiled. He noticed that their wasn't many people around them and he smiled a little
Shadow continued eating and stared at the lake, she felt all warm and fuzzy inside with happiness.
He finished eating and wrapped his arms around her and looked around them
She also finished eating and leaned into him, she smiled as she saw that everybody was gone.
He smiled at her and gently rested. His chin on her shoulder
She smiled and stroke his hair gently, smiling in the sun, her back against a tree.
He closed his eyes a little as she played with his hair. He sighed contentedly
"Aspen, you do realize that we have to treasure moments like these all the time because before we know it, they slip away." she said, looking at him.
He nodded looking over at her," Yes Shadow I know that."
"Then I'm glad." she said, happy that everything was becoming perfect in her life.
He grinned at her and just held her close
She looked up at him, "Tell me when you want to go back, it is around sunset time so..." she said, looking at the trees, "We shouldn't stay out too late." she said.
He nodded looking down at her," Alright we can go in a little bit." He answered looking out as the sun set over the trees
She smiled, "The sunset is beautiful, you know, I wish I could spend every day like this, it was awesome, thanks." she said and pecked him on the cheek, she sat back against the trunk of the tree.
He nodded a little, "Yeah I wish we could too." He said wrapping his arms around her. He gently kissed her cheek
She smiled, nodding, she closed her eyes, "I'm glad you're the one who bumped into me,in the park that day." she said, she sensed an uneasy air, someone was there...but since it was the park she thought it was someone just taking a walk.
He looked down at her and grinned a little, "Yeah I am too. Although I just about killed you I'm sure." He said softly looking around them. He just had a feeling someone was there, not that it would be strange since they were in a park.
She laughed lightly, "Well, I'm not so sure about that, I'm here with you now, aren't I?" she said and looked around, she saw a normal person walking down the path, she relaxed a but, somehow she could never shed the feeling that they were being watched.
He chuckled a little, "Yeah that is true." He said hugging her a little. He looked out seeing someone walking. His eyes looked around, "Do you feel like someone is watching us?" He asked her softly
She smiled and looked at him, "Yeah, I feel like someone's watching us..." she whispered.
He looked down at her, "Want to leave?" He asked
She nodded slowly, "I feel like something bad js about to happen..." she said, the hairs on the back of her neck stood on end.
"I know I feel the same way." He said softly sitting up a little. He removed his arm from around her and started packing up their things
She stood up and started folding the blanket, her fingers fast and nimble.
He got up after her with the basket. He looked around one last time then grabbed her hand,"Ready?" He asked
She nodded, holding his hand, she stood up with the blanket and started walking to the car...
