Shadow hugged him, everything will be alright. she told herself over and over again, hoping to believe herself.
Aspen kept her close," I don't know whether to be happy about this or sorry." He whispered to her after a little while
"I think you should be happy, I'm not sorry." she said quietly.
"I'm not either.... But it explains why you have been sick." He said looking down at her
She nodded, "It does." she said. She turned to Ms.Kelley, "Is it ok if we leave now?" she asked.
Ms. Kelley nodded," Yes it's fine." Aspen nodded and scooped Shadow up into his arms
Shadow put her arms around her neck as he carried her, "Bye Ms.Kelley." she said.
Aspen walked out the door with her. Ms. Kelley smiled," Alright goodbye dears and call me if you need anything."
Shadow nodded to Ms.Kelley just as Aspen crossed the area between the door and hospital bed.((goodnight!))
Aspen smiled and waved a little as he walked out to his car
Shadow closed her eyes and concentrated on everything she had just found out.
Shadow buckled up as he ent to the other side.
Aspen got in and started the car," Are you alright?"
She nodded slowly, "Just processing." she replied.
"What do you want to do today?" she asked him, the FBI had given them two weeks off.
He shrugged a little as he drove, "I don't know I wasn't really thinking about that."
She smiled, "Maybe we can go to a park?" she shrugged.
He nodded, "We can do that and have a little picnic."
"Yeah! That would be great!" she said.
He chuckled softly," alright so stop off at home first to get food?"
"Yup." she said happily, looking at him.
He glanced over at her and drove to the small apartment they had
Shadow looked away and looked out the window again.
Aspen pulled into the buildings parking lot and turned the car off
Shadow got out of the car, a wave of nausea rolled over her, "Aspen, we better get up there quickly." she said and put a hand over her mouth.
Aspen looked over at her and frowned a little fishing the key off the ring he had," alright we will. He said moving quickly around his car and scooping Shadow into his arms
She breathed reply, keeping calm.
He looked down at her and he climbed the stairs as quickly as he could trying not to jostle her too much.
Shadow held on to her stomach.
He unlocked their door and pushed it open. He hated the fact that Shadow was sick and he was partially to blame for it
Shadow jumped down from his arms and ran to the bathroom.
Aspen had been going to set her down when she jumped from his arms. He followed her after a minute to the bathroom
She had finished vomiting just as he walked in and she sighed as she washed her face with cold water from the tap.
He frowned a little and handed her the towel," Better?" He asked worriedly
She nodded, "Good enough, let's pack for the picnic." she said and put a smile on her face.
He nodded a little,"alright... Are you sure you still want to go?" He asked
She nodded, "I'll be fine." she said. ((I gtg to school bye!))
"Okay." He said walking with her to the kitchen," Promise me you'll tell me if you start feeling bad?" He asked. ((Alright have fun))
((*sigh* I still hate national dance no matter what my teacher says.)) "Promise." she said and followed him.
((Don't worry I have two tests to take today and it's going to suck)). He nodded and walked to the fridge," what should we take?"
"Apple juice for sure, and fruits, bread, stuff to make sandwiches." she said as she looked in the fridge.
((Haha thanks))He nodded getting the stuff out. He went to the closet and grabbed a basket to put it all in
She went and found a blanket on which they'd sit on.
He packed the basket and looked around for some other things they may end up needing
