She sighed in relief. She turned to the officer, "So let me guess, you want us to come with you right?" she said.
He looked back up at the officer. He wasn't really sure how he felt about the whole thing at the moment
The officer nodded curtly.
Shadow looked at Aspen, "What do we do?" she asked.

"Look, can you decide fast because we don't have much time, we know that you would be perfect for the job, your parents have been training you your whole lives." the officer said.

Aspen thought for a little bit. he thought of the hunting trips he went on with his dad, the way they all used to run and wrestle together....... He looked down at Shadow, "I guess we could go."
She nodded, her eyes glazed over as she remembered the memories.

Shadow heard a chopper over the house and looked up, breaking free of her trance.
Aspen watched as the officer went back to his car, then looked up at the helicopter over their heads.
A ladder dropped as the chopper came overhead. Shadow hugged Aspen and walked out the door, holding his hand.

Shadow climbed slowly due to her leg. When she DID get to the helicopter she dropped to the floor, dragging her leg to the seat, it didn't hurt, it just weighed her down.
Aspen climbed up after her. He didn't think she should have been climbing but he didn't say anything. He just pulled himself up next to her and wrapped his arm around her
She smiled as he hugged her, she sat on the seat as an officer looked at them.
He sat back in the seat keeping his arm around her
Shadow looked out the window as the helicopter flee further away from their safe haven and home.
Aspen watched out the window with her.

Shadow had fallen asleep, her head on Aspen's shoulder when the helicopter touched down.
Aspen had rested his cheek against her head as the flew away from their safe house.

An officer opened the door and about fifteen others were surrounding the helicopter.

Aspen gently shook Shadow awake, "Honey wake up." he said softly ((Alright bye!))
Shadow mumbled something but lazily woke up. She sighed, "We're here." she said and looked at the officer who had opened the door.
((Yay!!))Aspen smiled a little as she woke up, "Yeah I guess." He said
She took Aspen's hand and stood up.
He got up with her and helped her out of the helicopter.
"Follow the officer." said the guard outside.
Shadow nodded and followed the man into the building.
