Aspen rolled over snuggling with Shadow as the sun shone through the window. He grumbled a little slowly coming awake
She opened her eyes sleepily, she curled up against Aspen.
He had his face buried against her neck like a child his arms were wrapped around her waist
She felt like she was in heaven, well that didn't last long because she heard the sound of car tires roll into the driveway.
He moved a little hearing the tires on the driveway. He looked over at her," did you tell anyone we were here?" He asked softly
She shook her head, "No." she whispered, all of her sleepiness had disappeared.
He frowned a little," okay." He said softly now totally awake
She turned and crept the the window, three black cars stood in the driveway, "Aspen.." she said, alarm filled her voice.
He watched her for a second before joining her at the window when she called him. He looked out and his frown deepened," this is not good."
She put on a clean shirt and looked around, "I think we need to hide and watch what they do." she said quietly.
He nodded and put some clothes on over his boxers " alright.. What if they dont go away?"((May be falling asleep soon:())

"We run and hide in the woods. " she said. "Let's hope that it's only those in the cars." she said and got a bag pack. She put in some things just in case they were going to run.

She laughed softly, "It's ok, my leg is almost healed, I cab speed walk."

She walked over and pecked him on the lips and quickly walked to the stairs.
He smiled and kissed her softly before following her to the stairs," where are we going to hide."
"Downstairs, just keeping watch, if they come near the house we run out the back door and into the woods." she said as she opened a floorboard and took out two guns.
He nodded a little as he watched her," you know you should really think about becoming a secret agent or something." He muttered seeing the guns
She laughed, "My parents always kept them handy." she said.

"Maybe..." she said. She heard footsteps on the gravel as they neared the door, "I think they do know that we're here." she said and then a knock on the door sounded.
Aspen watched as they approached the house. He frowned a little bit," I'm pretty sure those guys are not here to hurt us."
Shadow narrowed her eyes, she saw an FBI badge flash. "Alight, lets see." she said ((I have to go, stupid free WiFi, only in the lobby:())

Aspen stood slightly behind her as she opened the door. He saw the flash of the badge in the sun. He gently put a hand on Shadow's arm, "Hello." He said to the officer

Aspen nodded a little, "Yes." He said moving a little closer to Shadow's back, "What did you need?" He asked cautiously as he looked him over.
"As you may know, your parents were the heads of the Federal Bureaux Investigation, when they were assassinated we knew that they had children, we have come to talk to you about possible employment and possibly revenge..." he said.
