She took the spatula from him and put pieces of French toast on their plates.
Aspen watched her as he put some of the dishes they weren't using away
She grinned and hopped over to the table with their plates and set them down. She sat down and looked at the toast hungrily, waiting for Aspen.
He followed after her. He sat down and smiled at her.
She smiled back and started eating.
He ate also glancing at her every once in a while
Shadow was in the basement with Aspen, so many nice memories of her and her family came back to her, then hlshe saw the foosball table and grinned.
Aspen followed her to the basement. he was looking around at the house, He knew it meant a lot to Shadow. He smiled as he saw her grin
"There's that old thing!" she said with a happy tone as she stood beside the table, "Now to only find the ball..." she said and started looking around.
He laughed at her childish excitement. "I'll help you find it." He said looking around for it also
She looked under the table and around the table, no luck.
He looked around the room. and frowned a little not finding it yet
Shadow looked up and found it in the lamp on the ceiling, "Well how in the world did it get there?" she said.

Aspen looked at where she was and laughed reaching up to get the ball. He was laughing
Shadow laughed with him and took the ball, setting it on the table and dragged the table closer to the middle of the room, "Thanks." she said.
Aspen was still laughing as he gave her the ball. and helped her move the table. "You're welcome." he said
She smiled, "Red or blue?" she asked as she looked at the little people.
"Umm red," he said looking down too
"Kay,,I'm blue." she said and hopped to the other side of the table. She got ready and popped the ball into the 'field' "Three, two, one, Start!" she said and started playing with him.
He laughed as they played. She was a lot better than he was. So he lost the first two games
"Hmmm, best 4 out of 5?" she asked.
"Hmmm, best 4 out of 5?" she asked.
He nodded," yup sounds good but I think you ate going to win."
"Nope,,I'm not,,trust me." she said and smiled at him.
"I still think you are." He said as they started the game
Aspen ended up winning after, Shadow smiled at him, "Told ya." she said.
Aspen laughed," I think you let me win." He said looking over at her
"I might've." she said and stuck her tongue out at him. ((I gtg sleep, friends are going crazy on fb and I'm not in the mood for their drama so ya, bye!:())
He walked around the table and caught her around the waist," I know you did." ((Awwww okay well bye then))

She laughed and hugged him, letting her head fall on his chest, she sighed happily, "Are you sure you don't?" she said.
Aspen nodded a little looking down at her," yeah I'm sure I don't."

"Hmmm, we'll see, you're probably smarter than me." she challenged.
"Umm I don't know about that... Maybe in some things." He answered
"Which ones?" she asked looking up at him.
"Well I worked in a hospital.. So in those areas maybe." He said
"Alright, which brings me to something I wanted to ask you...Who do you want to be?" she said.
He nodded a little then shrugged." I'm not sure for a while I wanted to he a doctor but now I kind of just want to be a physical therapist."
"Interesting...I don't really know who I want to be... Maybe a writer or a teacher..." she said. (Skip to about a month later when the FBI comes to find them?))
