Shadow nodded and smiled, relaxing on the couch.
Aspen walked up the stairs and put their stuff in the room she said. He came back down the stairs and sat next to her
She smiled as he sat down, "I want to show you something." she said.
He looked over at her, "What is it?"
"Out back, next to the lake." she said.
He nodded, "Alright I will help you out there."
She smiled and scooted closer so that he could pick her up.
He smiled at her and picked her up, "Alright lead on." he said
"Go to the kitchen and exit to the backyard and walk straight." she said.
He nodded and followed her instructions
When they went out of the backyard she led him right, then she saw her favorite maple tree. She would love to climb up there and watch the lake. "We're here." she said.
He looked around, "It's really nice out here."
"That tree is my little spot," she said and remembered pleasant memories.
He smiled at her, "I can see why."
"I loved climbing up there when I was little." she sighed.

He nodded, "It looks like fun." he said
"Yeah, it's also really beautiful up there, imagine looking at the lake while light from the leaves on the tree dances on your hands." she said happily.
He smiled, "Sounds really nice." he said
She looked up at him and smiled.
She smiled, closing her eyes, she rested her head on his chest.
He held her for a while outside in the backyard
She rested in his arms, "Aren't I heavy?Let's go back in you're arms must be getting tired of holding me." she said.
Aspen laughed softly, "No your not heavy. I'm fine but we can go in if you want." he said
Shadow laughed quietly, "Sure, let's go inside." she said.
"Alright." he said heading back inside with her
She smiled, she curled up against him.
