Aisling and Finn drifted in. It amused Finn to watch mundanes go about their lives and his sister had to just put up with it. He got two coffees and sat down on a couch with her.
Shane LeRoche walked into Java Jones, her favourite coffee place in the world. Automatically, she noticed the two shadowhunters sitting on a couch and began fiddling with her sleeves. Her long flowing skirt swooshed as she walked and it was only too noticeable how muddy the hem of it was. Going up to the counter, she ordered a chai latte from the waiter and looked around the shop
Finn relaxed back onto the couch, sipping his coffee. It was strong, just how he liked it. He watched his sister as she put her legs on his lap, grinning at him like an innocent kid.
Aisling, keeping her legs there to annoy him, looked around the room. She saw someone ordering a late and then saw the muddy hem of her skirt. A smile came to her face. "Hi!" She called out to her.

Shane took her coffee from the waiter and paid, nodding her thanks. She turned and took a sip just as one of the shadowhunters lying on the couch yelled a greeting to her. The werewolf jumped slightly, spilling some of her tea and cursing under her breath. "So much for blending in," She muttered to herself as she grabbed a napkin and got down on her knees to clean up her mess. She looked up at the girl, "Hi?" She said more as a question and less as a greeting. She didnt feel in the mood to get picked on by more arrogant shadowhunters today
Aisling bit her lip when she made Shane spill her drink. "Sorry about that," she said, hanging her head for a second. "I'm Aisling* or Ash, you?"
Finn looked at his sister, raising an eyebrow. He shook his head in amusement. Was she talking to Downworlders again in a mundane environment?
((*Ash-ling))

Shane picked up her dirty napkins and threw them in the trash. She was surprised that the shadowhunter was apologizing to her and even more surprised that it looked like she meant it. "Oh, it's okay. I just didn't expect..." She trailed off realizing what she was about to say. "Nevermind. Hi Ash, I'm Shane LeRoche," she said, rolling the 'R' in her french accent. Noticing the other shadowhunter's expression, she fixed her eyes on him and raised her own eyebrow. "Et tu?" And you? She asked in french.
Finn looked over at her and smirked slightly in the way that he did. "Finn," he replied. "Her big and better brother." He tilted his head at Aisling.
Aisling gently hit his arm, legs still on his lap. "Hi, Shane," she said.

Shane walked over to them and hesitated, standing at the seat opposite them. "Well, it is nice to meet you both." Taking a sip of her latte, she looked at the mundanes around the shop. "Excuse me for saying this but you two dont look like you would normally hang out in such a...mundane...spot." Shane genuinely liked Ash right off the bat, but Finn on the other hand was giving her more of that arrogant shadowhunter vibe
Aisling smiled. "It amuses my brother here to watch mundanes live their peaceful lives," she replied. "Not having to worry about demons and bloodsuckers seems so bliss." She looked at Finn who's face was devoid of emotion. She hit his arm and he jumped, focusing back in.
Shane's own thoughts turned inwards as Ash's answer reminded her of her younger brother Jacob and her former life before she was bitten and turned into a werewolf. She looked at her watch, Hmm, I have plenty of time to pick him up from school. She gestured to the chair across from them. "You don't mind...?" Shane trailed off, realizing she wasnt just asking if they didnt mind her sitting in the vacant chair but asking if they didnt mind associating with a downworlder like most shadowhunters do. As an afterthought, she added, "No, no demons. But poverty and death all the same..." She said in a soft voice, seeming to stare off into space
Aisling smiled and nodded. "Go ahead and sit down," she said, gesturing at the chair herself. She looked at her brother as he just shrugged, not really minding. He never really minded. She looked back at Shane, her smile still there. She thought over what Shane said. "Most mundanes here will never experience poverty, a little death within their older family and friends, but nothing too serious like Third World Countries do. It must be bliss for them."
Shane snapped out of it as Ash spoke, scooping up her skirt as she sat in the chair. She noticed that Finn wasnt much of a talker but could only follow suit and inwardly shrug as well. She realized she was already shaking her head sadly before Ash had even stopped talking and she forced herself to take another sip of her latte. "It's not as blissful as one might think." She said, not meaning to refute or argue what the girl had just said. Shane pulled at the sleeve of her two sizes too big hirt. That's the problem with shopping at the Salvation Army, You can never find anything that fits... She sighed before she could stop herself
((sos, doing an assignment))
Aisling tilted her head to the side, a very light frown of concern on her face. "Really?" She asked, her voice soft and thoughtful. She noticed Shane pulling at her sleeve and bit her lip as she sighed. "You know what," she said, standing up. "I am going to take you shopping for fitting clothes." She nodded to herself.
"Have fun with that, sweet sister," Finn said, sipping his coffee.

Shane looked up as Aisling spoke, seeing the girl scrutinize her appearance. She quickly stopped fiddling with her shirt. "Well, I mean what do I know. I'm not a mundane." She laughed sheepishly at her bad joke and then stood with her mouth open at Aisling's suggestion. "Quoi?" what? She asked, her surprise making her speak french instead of english.
Aisling smiled wide and rather cheekily, looking at Shane. "Shopping," she said. "Have you seriously never heard of shopping? It's where people go buy... stuff." She chuckled in amusement. "Seriously girl, I am certainly taking you to buy clothes."
Shane blushed at Aisling's comment. Of course she knew what shopping was. She could just never afford it. Suddenly embarrassed she quickly walked towards the door to leave. "Je suis desolee." I'm sorry. Flustered, she looked at her watch. "I didn't bring any money with me so I can't. And besides, I have to pick up my little brother from school." She opened the door and said "I'll see you around though and thanks for the offer!" As she closed it behind her and walked briskly down the streets of New York.(sorry, im turning in for the night!)
((kk, night!))
Aisling shrugged. "I was going to pay," she said softly. She looked at Finn. "Remember her size?"
Finn nodded. "Yep," he replied. He wrote it down and handed it to her.
"Thank you, dear brother." Aisling kissed his cheek and bounded out, leaving Finn sitting on a couch, sipping the coffee.

Rose walked into java jones for a small tea to calm herself down. She was feeling very jittery and liked the calm area of the coffee placs
Vincent was sitting in his favorite spot the corner booth of Java Jones with a vanilla shake bored out of his mind.
She got hers and looked around, seeing him and smiling. She went over. "Mind if I sit?" She asked curiously.
((By the way my responses might not be as fast as usual because I'm also in another rp in another group))Vince looked up from the speck of dirt he was staring at that was on the table to see Rose. "Sure Rosie have a seat." He said gesturing to an open chair.
He scoffed. "As if you could ever become better than me. Train all you want Rose but that will never happen."He told her.
"I'll tell you that again in a month when I am whooping your arse missy!"He replied with the same tone of cockiness.
"Nope I am not." He shook his head denying it. "Aw don't pout Rosie your not a little girl anymore."
