I'm not! Since Stripped hasn't been released, I haven't had the chance to read it. But, I am going to say what I want to see in Broken Promises.

1) To see Trystan's dad, so he can get beat up or put in prison.

2) More of Trystan+Mari romance

3) KATIE. At least something about Katie!

I'm not sure if this is the place to discuss this, and if not don't hesistate to smack my hand so I can delete this post. I'm gathering from the clues dropped in The Arrangement 13 and from Stripped that Mari and Trystan broke up... and that it was Trystan's fault... and that although she didn't want to do so, Mari still followed her fathers wishes and pursued a career in medicine. I am DYING to know what the hell happened! It's driving me crazy. *dramatically rakes hands down face* Anyone have any good theories about what could have possibly happened between these two?

EXACTLY!! I just finished The Secret life of Trystan Scott today so I was a little behind. When I reread his scenes in the Arrangement I was like WTF??? What happened to the man who would never touch alcohol? Then when I read Stripped and Jonathan mentioned Trystan doing women from coast to coast, my jaw hit the proverbial floor. lol

I'm guessing there was probably some sort of mutual agreement actually. Mari would never hold Trystan back from his career, and it seems that he still wears her ring around his neck. Trystan will find out that Bryan took Avery to Maris house, and I think that will be the beginning of a reunion for them....we'll see! I mean there's only one more book coming for him so it'll all come together.

Ok, help me get this straight pls
1) we don't know why Trystan and Mari broke up
2) we don't know why Mari went to M&D school
3) we don't know how he got tangled with the Ferros
Right?

Now my theories are
1 & 2) I think either something happened to her father and she decided to "honour him" or she was forced into it, but she seemed to love it when she patched up Avery. And that's what probably broke them up and why Trystan started drinking.
3) maybe the partying got them together but it seems like the whole freaking family knows him and at least Jon and Bryan know Mari so idk what's up with that.

And yes, I agree that the whole sex thing is probably a façade but I'm wondering what happened to Seth and Katie too.

And dammit I want a HEA. Why the hell would I go through the pain and shit not to get rewarded in the end. Come on Holly, you need to give us a HEA!!

No, no, no. She actually did give us a HEA in the last book, Revealed. Trystan announced he was Day, and Mari and Trystan agreed to long distance dating, so they actually were together and had a HEA. I have no clue what the hell happened to Seth and Katie, but I'll bet five bucks that they dated for a month, then Katie smacked Seth with her purse or something like that. Maybe she smacked him with a fish.

The sad part is that, as we read more about the Ferros, we see more adult Trystan, what he's doing. AND THAT MARI ISN'T WITH HIM BUT HE STILL WEARS HER RING. And then the follow-up novel was announced after whatever amount of time, because H.M. Ward decided that, yes, she needed to screw with all of us Trystan Scott fans, because why not? I mean, seriously! We were so close to the HEA!! Trystan could have pulled a Billy Joel or something and taken a break from it all to go spend time with his loved ones, and his loved one is Mari, then they could have gotten married and had a kid that they named Cole or something, and we would have had it!! *Goes to cry quietly in the corner*

*Gets up and walks back over* On another note, WE GET ANOTHER NOTE ABOUT TRYSTAN AND MARI AND ALL OF THE AWESOMENESS!!!!!!!
