A twist on the "best man for Sookie" question: If *you* were Sookie, who would you pick?

I will always say Eric because I mean it's Eric. But I agree with the others that a part of me sorta wants her to end up with Quinn. I realize that he had a ton of baggage but if he pulled it together I think he could give her the most "normal" life.

Oh I also really liked Quinn and thought the relationship had a weird ending. I blame it on Eric! I'm not a big fan of Eric and I don't think he's suitable for Sookie in the long run. I really hope Quinn will be back and that Sookie remembers how sweet he was now that her blood bond with Eric is gone.

I also liked Alcide in the beginning but his world is getting too weird for Sookie I think.

But all in all I think I like the big muscular men (Alcide, Quinn) who can reproduce. So thats who I would choose if I were Sookie.

I would pick Alcide if I were Sookie, he's not dead and they could have children together, which she couldn't with Eric nor Bill. Also, I read the books before I watched last season with Alcide in it and they way Joe M. looks, is exactly how I thought Alcide would look when reading the books.

The answer to that question is simple Nicole--we go hunt him down for messing with our Sookie. :oP But it WOULD be interesting, wouldn't it? What should he LOOK like? Sookie doesn't really seem to have a "type" (well, other than PN) but looks wise, she doesn't have a type.

Now, we will open this up to every male who ever appeared in a movie (we will pretend that they were turned into vamps or something, ok?) So, nominate who you think should play this mythical "new male". And post a link to a picture of him if you can find one.

As much as I love Eric, I don't think he's the best man for Sookie, she gets into far too much trouble while she's with Eric, as if she doesn't have any enough already haha.

I liked Quinn, but she barely saw him so she'd have been miserable a lot if she was with him.

Sam is a contender for me, I really like Sam, but it might make working a little awkward.

I think Bill is the best man for Sookie, he genuinely cares for Sookie, although it didn't seem that way when he ran off to Lorena, she was his maker and there wasn't a lot he could do. He's not a King or a Sheriff, so Sookie wouldn't be dragged into Vampire Politics as much as she is with Eric. He also lives right across the cemetery to her and can be there within seconds (at night anyway) :)

For Sookie, I pick Sam. He is her rock & I believe she loves him. She can also have all those things she wants out of life...husband & children.

For me, Eric & Bill might be hot. But Alcide is way hotter. There's something that draws me to that character.

Eric is the one who has sacrificed for her, despite his being "all about Eric". The fae war had nothing to do with Eric - he went there to fight for Sookie. The Kym Rowe plot, again it had nothing to do with Eric, he was dragged into it because it would hurt Sookie.

Sam's her bff but she loves Eric and says so to everyone who asks and thinks about it constantly in the last book. I think the chance of her suddenly decided (after she uses the CD) that she really loves Sam - without once thinking about him in a romantic way since she's been with Eric - incredibly unlikely. That makes me :-D.

Before the novella, STW, I thought Sam had a chance but not anymore.

Ok If I lived it the world Sookie was in, Hands down I would pick Eric. Eric has money, power, looks and he would be able to turn me.
Now as for Sookie herself I would pick Sam. Sookie is always thinking of kids and growing old, Sam could give that all to her and grow old with her.

If I were Sookie, I would go back to school, work with Mr. Cataliades to refine the telepathy, then become a consultant to Kings, packs, covens, etc. I wouldn't feel the need to choose a man, but I would have worked with Mr. C and the AP to free Eric. Then go about self-discovery and self-actualization and eventually work my way back to Eric. Then of course with the essential spark and the fae blood, I would live a longer life. SPOILER ALERT!! I'm really feeling the Alcide love on the show and I can't imagine that she's going to end up with someone else before the series ends? Especially Sam with his baby daddy situation. So does that mean that in the end (the show) end, she ends up with Alcide? No Quinn for sure now. Then again, ya never know! I've always been a Quinn fan. Bummed we don't get to see a hottie actor for him!

I know he's the last one picked in gym class; the guy you don't want to bring to the dance, but I can't help it, I have always been a Bill fan. I have forgiven him for all his douchebag ways in the book and for blech, Billith in the show.

Alcide is very pretty. I can see her ending up with him. Although he's not my first choice, he's definitely not a bad choice, I mean look at him. I doubt they will be end game though. You know they love to throw a wrench in her love life in the middle of the season. He'll do something to piss her off I'm sure. She was already mad at him in the first ten minutes of the premiere.
