Please delete this book

Thanks for deleting this book - "le fait de l'assassin" by Amélie Nothomb, that does not exist. The person who added it (and posted a review) mixed up two distinct works by the author ("Hygiène de l'assassin" and "Le Fait du Prince").
Even though the book has less than 5 reviews, I cannot delete it myself for a reason or another.

You can't delete it because books shelved by any users can't be deleted outright, only merged into combined editions. Do you know which book the user meant to shelve? If so, you can combine this edition with that book and then delete it, which will merge the user over onto the actual book.

Well, there is no actual book that the user meant, but she created a book by merging two different titles of existing books! I don't get why that happened, aren't people supposed to check things before writing down an unreliable memory?
So I'll combine the book with one of them - there is no real review anyway, just a rating. Thanks for your advice!

Sarah, That's a good way to handle it, I think. I know when I see someone enter a whole series but the entry is not actually a book, I generally will combine it with the first book in that series.

Please delete these - the author's name was entered incorrectly and then everyone just jumped on the bandwagon. They have been combined with the correct title (and the author corrected), so last thing left is to delete:
